I'm guessing the only slot rd 3 will be is a Sunday night since it's ch7 game. They have the crows and north mid arvo so thinking 7pm Sunday ?

The Cats play at home the following Friday night so an extra 5-day break for them
They would have to leave either after the game if they can get a flight or Monday sometime
The Lions play away 3.15 pm on Saturday so a bit more time than Geelong.

I would schedule it on Friday March 28th at The Gabba at 8.00pm AEST. The Carlton V Dogs game is at 6.40 pm AEST
They could also adjust the Carlton game to 6.20pm AEST (7.20 AEDT) or even earlier 6.10pm (7.10pm). that would have the games 1 hour 50 minutes apart. An 8.10pm start at The Gabba would make it 2 hours between games

Or a Saturday night 29th Match 8pm. The Hawks v Giants in Tasmania is at 6.35 pm AEST. Same as above with adjusting times.
A Saturday game does rob channel 7 of a broadcast though.

All depends what Channel 7 do. There's only 1 time slot that works if they want to keep the game. Geelong just need to cop the 5 day break.

I had a 5pm flight booked today. Could see the conditions were shaping up to be pretty crap so rescheduled a couple of days ago to a Sunday flight.

They're going to have to pull the pin at some stage, conditions are only going to get worse & staff have to be able to get home safely.
