Position 2025 Rucks

There are deadset people who are afraid to run a risky R2, but they definitely drink and drive, run red lights, imbibe substances they purchase from sketchy kents in nightclubs, and invest money they can't afford to lose in crypto-currency.

It's a game lads - have a crack.

I'd rather fly too close to the sun and end up drowning in the ocean than perch in a tree of mediocrity, telling myself I'm awesome because I finished ranked between 2000 and 5000 again
+1

YOLO and all 🤞

Taking Jackson to clog up a fwd spot and sacrifice one of the 12 good fwd options just to provide cover for Flynn feels suboptimal, esp with Darcy back at Rd 4-5
Yeah I'd never, but you need a plan for Flynn r2 beyond rearranging your team if he gets injured.

I have had a look at this route but genuinly would take 2-3 trades to find a good outcome. Only possible one would be nabbing Briggs if he starts on fire after his bye as he only 250k up from Flynn

People got big plums skipping on horny Gawny
I have done that but I hope that TDK goes up in value and I can swap him for the bearded one when Pitto comes back, especially if Gawn comes down a little bit. The money saved on initial selection allows a better value starting squad but it does make me nervous. Not too sure if that gives my plums a size boost though.

Taking Jackson and an fr at r3?

Boyd at R3. No Jacko.

I want Flynn for literally six weeks, I have a plan that involves selling him for a nice profit then.

If he goes down before then, maybe Boyd goes better than we think he will.

Or maybe I have to use two trades but I solve other problems with the same two trades.

Or maybe it goes really pear-shaped, in which case I can always drink heavily to numb the pain and/or top myself. No biggie

We have best 22/23 this year. You can plonk Flynn at R2 and if he's injured and you have no cover you might lose 30 ppg from your 23rd best player getting on field, instead of the 85ppg you would have had to cop last year.

How long is Pittonet expected to be out for??
All season cause he's a plodder and TdK is gonna go 130+

This is my thinking with a four rookie backline. Best 18. Essendon delayed money making means a rookie correction up to Prior might be the safety net, and an acknowledgement that a small trade up to Mills / Kiddie is likely early in the season anyway....

I got him. Had 8 HTA the other day, 3 more than Xerri. He competed well and got better as the game went on. He's 27 years old, he's played 37 games, he lost his spot at the Giants, he'll have a chip on his shoulder and want to prove his worth. If he can stay fit (the big if), he should be good for ~90.

His injury history is terrible though.

A cooked Grundy is probably still the hardest ruck there?
grundy hasnt been restrictive for ages. essendon and nank were much harder matchups last year.

this is putting aside that you arent picking a 550k ruck for 8 rounds

the disposals around the ground arent there and he isnt kicking multiple goals every week.

meek setting the trap against a cooked grundy love it
Meek is now one of the top 5 ruckman in the comp.

If it was not his early bye Meek would be in my team.

Grundy is still relatively restrictive idk what you're going on about. Obviously not the most restrictive, but hes no easy beat. The games changed, you can 100% pick a 550k player with their draw being the main attraction. Xerri literally averaged 130 because of an easy run :tearsofjoy:

Essendon were harder because of Goldstein. If Bryan does more rucking than Draper, they'll be a much easier matchup.

Easy swap to Xerri when his fixture opens up too.
