And that’s me done for preseason

Probably the best conditioning I’ve seen the squad in since I’ve been attending training.

There’s a bit to look forward to this season albeit we’ll lose more than we win and there’ll be the occasional shellacking when things come completely unstuck

Stay positive, take the good with the bad as the players learn the new game plan and Mini identifies what he has to work with. Some will thrive, others will fall away but one thing I’m sure of is that the effort and desire to compete and improve will be there

For an outside leaning flanker/wing in a spud team it's going to be pretty hard for Dewar to win it IMO.

Beau Allen playing lockdown defence probs rules him out as well.

My money is straight up Levi Ashcroft.

Can't say the season launch has ever really done it for me tbh. I just don't see who it appeals to.

With the amount we're constantly spammed/updated by the club day in day out on FB, on media, twitter, interviews, fan engagement, videos...

Who actually cares about the season launch other than the players themselves? What's new?

Do I care about Baker receiving the jumper he played in on Saturday? Not particularly.

Is Macqualter going to say something different in his interview this time compared to his last half a dozen interviews before this? No. Even if he does, so what.

Different strokes. Some people might be keen but I'm pretty content with hearing from the club unless it's a round 1 team update by this point

I would have thought overused, unfunny content would have been right up your alley?

He's either a wasted pick that'll never amount to anything due to injuries and poor development, or he's the saviour of our footy club and will play 300 games and win 5 flags and 10 Brownlows.

The hurry in this case is he’s not injured

I guess we're just getting impatient to see our saviour in action. Finished his debut season very well, then we waited for the latter part of last season to him play again only for him to have a setback.
Now after a promising start to his preseason, he's had to be held back.
I think that overall we're just anxious about whether he can resume his career or not.

Agree, am in same boat, but rather be safe than sorry, not like we're short on stand in mids (maybe not same quality, but solid in the meantime). But apparently he's not injured now...
