I actually think we match up quite well against them. They have a very tall defence that relies on a lot of intercept marks between Barrass, Scrimshaw, Battle and Weddle, our height and overhead ability on the wing will make it harder for them to get the repeat entries they were able to do so effectively last year.

Hope we match Duursma on Mass. He's similar pace but taller and works both ways better so we can expose him the other way.

I think that was due to Frost as sub. If he starts then they're bloated back there between Barrass, Battle, Scrimshaw, Weddle etc.

I would like Drapes to start ruck and hopefully give us first use early on or break even in the middle. Bryan to come on to Ruck that middle section of the term, against a second ruck and hopefully give us an advantage. Drapes to rest forward/bench that time. Drapes to finish the quarter around the ground. Sub Bryan off for more run if injuries haven't happened to give fresh legs. Jones, Caddy and Langford as talls early on When Drapes is Rucking.

We will need to get up and about early in this game IMO as we may fatigue quicker having not played a "real" game yet. Hawks will be slightly more conditioned having played a game. Glad it is a night game though and not during the day with scorching temps.

Draper will be a key in this game. Meek monstered Grundy.
