How far away is Parish?
Depends on how he goes when they increase his work loads. He was basically a few days away from joining full contact training the last time it flared. If it is all good maybe 4 weeks. If it goes again then who knows.

As expected for our side.

Hawthorn are going with a short forwardline which I don't understand the rationale behind because we tend to struggle against sides that keep our interceptors like Ridley accountable. GWS and Geelong with Hawkins being a good example. We've named a pretty tall side so I think their decision to go small works in our favour, particularly in defence. None of our tall backs are elite one-on-one so keeping Ridley accountable with their fleet of small forwards would have been a nightmare.

My worry is still that we don't have enough smalls in defence to go with their small forwards.

I think Hawthorn's named side is a pretty good outcome for us as far as match ups go.

I expect the midfield battle to be a stalemate so our defence and their forwardline will be the key battle.
I expect Sicily to go forward at times, but that just means we have one less Sicily to worry about when we go forward.

Prior definitely can play small so I don’t think we match up badly

Hey guys, just wondering what's happened to Will Settlefield? Thought he was alright last year and now not picked?

Team looks so much better with kako, roberts, Reid, bryan instead of heppel, kelly, laverde, goldy.

Worry about goals but hopefully Jones can drift forward for a few and draper make a contest and bring it ground in 2 vs 1s.
Translates to a notable difference in leg speed

I must admit. I like how much Sam Mitchell takes the piss in these lineups.
Doesn’t care, he asked the afl if he could name them in number order (so Harry Morrison at FB)

Got told he’d get fined 🤣

I will ask and apologises for the intrusion! But two questions.

Sicily or Day possibly tagged?

Durham or someone else to Sicily?

🙏

Hawks will be good.
We might be.

I like our odds and think we will be up to our necks in the game in the 4th but it could also be all over by quarter time.

Do we win? Who knows.

Just hope Caddy and Kako kick a few and Zac Reid doesn’t get injured.
