Even in our very first AFL H&A game when many "experts" were predicting we wouldn't win a game all season Collingwood only beat us by 79 points.

This is pretty prescient I reckon, and this is one of the big issues with "succession plans", who's the coach?

I know the club, Carr and Ken have all said unequivocally Kens the coach this year, but I really can't see it being as simple as that behind closed doors.

The clubs inability to make one tough decision is gonna blow us up and set us back, and torpedo Carrs foundation.

It really is pathetic and the more this gets called out in the media the better.

No he played alright. Worked his arse off, was a bit slow, but he was one who was visibly trying till the end.

This is why I was concerned after the St Kilda game. We didnt play well that game, we just won by a lot because St Kilda barely turned up. We made just as many errors in that game as we did last night.

We do not have the skills to play the way we are trying to play. Too flat footed, don't gut run and we turn it over so easily.

I was impressed with two efforts/plays from Sinn one of which Bergman stuffed up immediately.

It’s just an old fashioned bogey with us and the G. Last year we pumped you too and you still finished Top 2

Let alone first round on a 30 degree night with you missing players

Just saying I wouldn’t be writing off this season too quickly just yet

Boak sucked in the first, turned the ball over in defence a number of times and helped set up their early lead. Like the pf
Kicked a nice goal later and hit the post, and improved. Still knows how to win the ball but gets caught a lot and struggles to do anything with it.
Hard to judge
Thought everyone would slip or fumble the ball then it was a hot potato and every chain of play would break down.

The season was a write off as soon as Hinkley stayed around for another year it doesn't matter where we finish minor round & hasn't for years, we don't play finals standard football.

I dont reckon its a bogey. At least not in a traditional sense.

We simply dont perform in big games. Our coach have convinced the players that Collingwood at the G is as big as it gets, and we should be scared. We're a side of downhill skiiers and a one plan coach. We fail every single time the pressure ramps up. Give us a better coach and fix the mentality and it goes away.

It derailed the Adelaide Crows season last year when they unexpectedly dropped round one to the SUNS. No one will convince me that round zero is anything other than a complete farce and season integrity issue.

The league DOES NOT CARE because its primary interests are looked after - big Victorian and the expansion market clubs.
