With his grandfather being a 4-peat premiership player 1927-30 with the Pies, then onfield success skipping his dad (although an accomplished recruiter for many years), we need to get first dibs on Bevo's grand kids!

Amazing achievement, one of the legends of the club. Had a undermanned side up for the fight Friday night. Hope he keeps fighting and keeps the boys fighting this year.

I think there is a fair bit of goodwill both ways between the club and Bevo. This goodwill is even stronger by having Luke Darcy on the board. So, I think if he leaves it is collectively Bevo and the club feel he has run his race and he cannot get anymore from the group. There is a possibility that a club like the blues could offer big $ but with a soft cap this is not as big a threat as used to be.
