Ken hand held Kane to 300 games well past what he should have reached, he’s always held a very soft spot for him and rarely criticises him.

He’s also I’m sure well aware that his brother Chad, whose one of the most useless forwards coaches in the game, will likely be turfed the moment Carr gets to set his own agenda.

He's the reason the list is the way it is, he's had ample opportunity, no one would put up with 13 seasons without a grand final appearance as their sales pitch to become a coach, so why does Ken get a pass? That's on top of the fact Port made 2 grand finals 8-5 years before he came to Port, which makes it even more astounding the grace period they've given him. Also, coaches do dictate who comes to the club and how they're managed. It's like giving Buckley a pass for his 17th placed 2021 team with that premiership list he had.
