We don’t know how much work he’s done over the last month, but it’s not like Larkey is a player who pushes up the ground a lot. We need a stopper for Larkey and Keane ain’t it
All we know is that he was definitely preferred to Borlase prior to his lis franc injury and that he didn't join main training until after Xmas. And even then it was managed sessions, from memory. I think they're being conservative and with an otherwise fully fit squad against north Melbourne, are sticking to the script. I won't be surprised to see him replace Borlase in the next week weeks after a couple of SANFL tune ups.
