I mean here's a pretty good example:
It doesn't change my confidence levels that he's staying because I never expected him to come out and publicly say "yep I'm staying (don't even worry about offering an extra $50-100k a year to get it over the line)" before re-signing.
If Harley, or Oscar Allen, had been stopped for an interview like that and said something similar I'd be leaning on the side of them leaving, that's all I'm saying. Not sure it "reeks of desperation"
I highly doubt anything he says in a doorstep interview will affect what he ends up getting paid, that's a stretch and a half
I found it strange that it sounded like it's a formality that he's staying just a few days before. I even qualified my statement by saying its weird because Twomey is almost always on point with this stuff
