He will probably get taken to the cleaners a few times but must persevere with him - huge upside.

Cordy never to be seen again unless Hammer is injured.
He still is a baby giraffe when defending a moving forward.

So fingers crossed that’s going to develop.

But his footskills down back are a thing of beauty.

What I do like is he doesn’t seem to overthink it or take on too much - just do the basics well and look for the first option - can’t go too wrong with that as a young inexperienced KPD.

Steele out gave Hugo freedom to play midfield, surely gets a Rising Star nod this week.

Hastie may not have had big numbers but he was good in my opinion.

TT did well for outing number one, definitely has the potential to keep on playing/developing in the ones.

Props to coaches for settling Chito into the forwardline full time this preseason. Hammers move to defence looks a big winner as well.

Winning is fun.

Shout out to Hammer who is currently second in the competition for Marks

Yeah has been good in defence, hopefully that is last we see of Cordy who is a liability in defence.

We need to keep backing our young players rather than going with old list cloggers with no future.

Commentator says late in the game, "you have to remember the Tigs have 13 players on 50 games or less."
Saints had 11...
To be fair, tiges have a lot more first season players and a lot of those Saints players would be closer to 50 games than 0, unlike the tiges.

Still very good signs for the Saints.

You know who's awesome? Jimmy Webster. When it was a tough game Jimmy was just doing Jimmy things. Love the bloke. Hope he's not out for too long.

Trav's hands are impressive.

Thought Jones lifted.

Windy is a beast.

Sincs class.

Hall is composed and tough.

Hilly very very good.

Our super power is our spread of even talent. We have a shit load of above average players but a lesser pool of elite talent.

If we work hard we look the business. The combo of attacking Boris and defensive Ross seems to work well. If we play with that work ethic and pace we can play deep finals.

As I have previously mentioned, the worst case scenario is that Camaniti has the same level of output as Cordy. If both players are producing the same output, you will naturally select the younger player that has the higher ceiling,

1 change that's a definite is Stocker for O'Connell (concussion protocols).

1 more change that's likely would be Steele in (if fit) and Webster out (if ankle is bad enough).

Means Hastie stays, who I thought was very good and did his job without standing out.

Carroll didn't back up his VFL effort last week by the looks of it, but the Box certainly did. Arie got plenty of touches and marks, but there's no one to come out for him.

Probably the most professional display l think I've seen from this team since RTB mk1.
The seniors led from the front, the 21-23yo brigade played like men, and the 18-20yo brigade played like they wanted to be there.
Too many good performances to single one out for special praise, the whole class gets gold stars this week 🌟

Who was the bloke absolutely potting him and the club on here 2 weeks ago?

Not posted once since the Geelong win. Just a troll with a burner account, surprised the mods haven't dealt with him.

OK it was an open game but it’s still nice to kick a score.
Last week we took a whole quarter to go from 90 to 98.

I preferred this week’s final quarter 🤣

Carrol reportedly with a possible hamstring injury, according to the VFL thread on this board. I can’t say I personally watched the game though, so still a bit of an unknown.

Commentators were saying knee / hope it’s a hammy

Geezuz, there are some serious 5 y.o's here wanting to replace Butler in the leadership group & as a forward.
How do people entertain that crap here.
So who are you dropping? Collard or Max Hall? Or do you play Butler with all of those, along with Higgins.

It’s a fair question. Butler will need to earn his spot via VFL.

I’m uncomfortable with the idea of drafting a small lockdown defender with an early pick, but boy oh boy do we need another genuine specimen on the list.

If you disagree, have a look at how important Webster was today when it was tough going…
