I think the hard-nose comes a bit with time. No reason why Hastie couldn't get there. Jimmy wasn't always as much of a lock down as he is now, he had elements of it but he used to be more of a flanker.

Irish has got that mongral about him, so does Stocker though he isn't as good of a defender. But yeah I'd love another Webster or another Geary even in our team. Heart and soul types.

Came here to write pretty much the identical paragraph as your first one there. I've loved Jimmy from day one, but he's certainly evolved since day one. Always considered Hastie the heir apparent to Jimmy.

McLennan could also do a job but needs to get a wriggle on. Love Stocker for his passion and mongrel and that academy guy Barrels mentioned sounds promising.

One guy who apparently is going pretty well is Lenny Hofmann, hopefully he doesn't come back to bite us ever.

Collard played an alright game and now we have people claiming him as a best 22 moving forward lol?

Butler is better than Collard
Butler will come in for Collard for sure, just great to see Collard showing he is a capable AFL small forward.

People are high on a first round draft pick that has 4 in 2 and had a few highlights in doing so.

This small forward role is mightily important to us. We need a genuine A grade crumber. (Higgins is not a crumber) so there is excitement here

Higgins has learnt how to snap on his left foot.

3 goals, 3 left foot snaps and I’m starting to trust his left.

Sinclair and Nas are electric off half back and set up the play brilliantly.

Jack Macrae is a contested beast and he brings the other midfielders into the game.

Marshall just doesn’t stop working absolute weapon around the ground

The fast ball movement is a thing of beauty and I’m looking forward to see what we can bring next week against our bogey side.

Well done Saints onto next week.

Trav had a very good game. There's something about him. Maybe biased as he looks like he could be roos kid. He's proving me wrong.

Was that garcias best game?

Also Jones has turned his career around. If can continue to play like this he might have a season or two left.

Super keen to see Pou again

And....a not too shabby Sat arvo crowd of 41,100.

In that second half....it sounded like 60 K were there.

Good to get the numbers in now.

Our next 3 home games at Marvel are all against interstate clubs.

Bris
Freo
Suns

After the above:

Dogs
Haw
Syd.

We should get good crowds against those clubs.....

That's about it...Dees and Norf to round out the season.

Jones has usually looked good when he is fit, problem is he has been very injury prone.
Gives us a point of difference with his speed.

What an awesome birthday pressy for him.

A big shout out to aisle 29.....they kick off the Mason Wood chant and at times today....the chant around the ground was spine tingling in volume.

You'd swear that you were at an EPL game.
I love them. Brings a bit of fun to the footy. Better to sing a few silly songs then abuse the players like Carlton or Essendon

If Nas could re-sign soon, that'd be great thanks.

I've loved watching him take his game to another level this year - but I feel this tiny pang in my heart every time he does something great. I call it the "Josh Battle" feeling. That sinking "we're cultivating this talent for another team's premiership tilt" fefeeling.
Be good if he announced it in Adelaide next week.

Was in Aisle 29 in the second half, the atmosphere was tremendous. The Mason Wood chant when he was about to be interviewed was very funny. He looked a bit embarrassed.
