There is nothing sadder than seeing a Melbourne crowd in a home game vs an interstate side. It reminds me of a Sheffield Shield game from the 90's.

Half of them leaving during the third quarter didn't help either.

Serious dude? Round 10, 2024, St Kilda vs Fremantle, Saturday, 19,265...

Have a look in your own back yard you campaigner.

Melbourne fans leave at halftime to make it home in time for roast duck and a glass or two of superb red.

Marvel stadium has half the capacity of the MCG. Your crowds look pathetic because it's in a ground that holds 100,000 people.

Melbourne should be moved to Marvel like us other plebs clubs and leave the MCG for teams that can actually pull a crowd.

I think the reason we don't have packed MCG every week is because we don't have a big supporter base and we are also playing bad football- it's not actually that remarkable.

What's interesting (to me anyway) is that people turn up to watch Essendon and Carlton play. Especially Carlton- they've had 30 years of doing absolutely **** all, and people still turn up in droves. I feel sorry for their fans that they can't find anything better to do than pay money to see their loser club get smashed every week.

Freo, Eagles and Crows are the only 3 clubs to have 40k+ vs GC

If the Gabba was bigger, then Brisbane would probably achieve it. But it's a fair effort by this trio

I’m shocked Collingwood hasn’t got over 40k.

To be fair to the Tigers; we’ve only played the Suns 3 times in their history at the MCG.

The 2015 game mentioned; R12 2016 on a cold winters afternoon when Richmond were 13th after starting the season 1-6 and in the final round of 2024 when Richmond had already won the spoon and it was confirmed Dusty wasn’t playing his “farewell” game.

A competitive Richmond/GC game at the G would be closer to 50k
