Nice to hear we have some talent coming through.
Looks like we might consistently hit one a draft over the next 3 - 4.

El-Achkar (2025), Sweid (2026), Bewick (2027)

Jacob Lloyd (2031) one to keep an eye on for the future. Played U12 schoolboys which has a pretty special strike rate over the years apparently. Did well in the 2024 carnival as well

Sweid is in this years draft isn’t he?

Its confusing,

Sweid is 2007 born but HuN article suggested Sweid and Leeds were both eligible for next years draft
Yeah I think it’s this years draft. Born in September 2007

Ramanauskas one to watch aswell, apparently had a growth spurt over summer and is coming along very nicely

Aidan?

He was playing U16's lower division footy at Strathmore another Alessio (Max). Ended up winning the Div 2 grand final by a point.

Sidenote, the Div 1 side had a certain K.Bewick in it along with an NGA kid, Jad Naim who is now in the Cannons U18 squad with big wraps

I would argue the opposite. He almost walked into a reasonable Calder midfield as an underage, the 2025 group looks more even with no real star power. An abundance of underages and cant start in there.
Looks electric still and could be a potential top 40 pick

He looked short and a bit thick and stumpy last year, he’s either leaned up or potentially had a growth spurt and put on 2-3 cms.

Either way, he looks far more like a footballer now.

Yeh well I heard from someone at st Bernard’s he had a growth spurt and played in the ruck against the year 12 ruck in a school match and dominated.

Named Co-Captain aswell

These games are live correct?
if so may have to give it a watch

Sorry to ask ya Ed but is Sweid this year or 2026?

PS Thank you for all your contributions!
I don’t think there is vision of these games, I’ll be attending the first game live as it’s a triple header for all the Metro teams.

Sweid is this year

We do have a couple of Tiwi NGA kids to keep an eye out on, although information is scarce I have asked my NT contact for anything.

Mathias Bourke-Miller has been selected in the initial NT U18 trial squad. Had a very good U18 year for Darwin Buffaloes, even managing to crack the senior team for a game

Ed Darcy Junior is another who had been ok in 2024/25 season. Played 2 games at senior level for Palmerston Magpies.

Will watch with interest

I actually saw that. He looked dynamic. What was the other bloke's name?
Adam Sweid. His highlights from the game are in the draft thread :thumbsu:
