For me it's:

Out: Armstrong, Miller, Mansell (susp)
In: McAuliffe, Gray, Rioli

Armstrong to play VFL to get some touch and hopefully kick a bag, will be good for him to win a few contests down there.

I know Miller out won't happen, but having watched the last two weeks of VFL, Campbell Gray is banging the door down and needs an opportunity. I don't want him to have to wait for an injury to get a spot.

Rioli comes in (albeit as sub) for Mansell, and McAuliffe gets rewarded for more or less being our best at VFL level in back to back weeks.

Would like to see Taranto play more half-forward (at times) to allow for McAuliffe and Sonsie to get some centre-bounce time.

Give Kaleb Smith a full game.

Line-up v Brisbane

B:
Luke Trainor - Jacob Blight - Nick Vlastuin
HB: Tom Brown - Nathan Broad - Jayden Short
C: James Trezise - Tim Taranto - Kaleb Smith
HF: Seth Campbell - Jacob Bauer - Tyler Sonsie
F: Sam Lalor - Tom Lynch - Steely Green
R: Toby Nankervis - Jacob Hopper - Kamdyn McIntosh
Int: Thomson Dow - Jack Ross - Kane McAuliffe - Campbell Gray
Sub: Maurice Rioli Jnr

i can't see how Rioli can get anywhere near pomotion on form
**** some of you campaigners are impatient.

Hugo straight in - no game time to warm up
Smillie straight in- no games at all

Just ****in relax you campaigners, you are making me antsy with this BS

Hugo might come in i reckon - maybe as a sub - but really really small chance

The talk of Smillie coming straight in is just ridiculous and i agree either desperate or in a hurry to nowhere

We really need to be careful with this young talent to not smash them, their bodies and just as importantly their confidence

I am guessing this week is millars last game for a while.

Balta will come straight back in for the game against the shockers of freo

(I have also just realised that game conflicts with my daughters 50th so will miss)
Reckon Miller will stay back and Blight go forward once Balta returns.

Great to be home again.

Lions should win easily.

Tigers took it to the Saints for a half but fell away second half, the reverse for Blues.

Let's hope a four quarter crack at Brisbane.

LFG Tigers!

Yze presser. Armstrong to play this week, Banks, Hugo & Smillie to play this week but Smillie will have managed minutes (?VFL)

Reporters can GAGF, spent the first 6 mins talking about Mansell & Balta. Move on campaigners

Yze was asked who might come in for Mansell and he mentioned the names Rioli, Sonsie or Banks .....

Our small forward depth is atrocious and definitely needs to be addressed. If Raso was on the list, he'd be playing AFL this week.

I don't mind if we finish last before the MSD. We need to pick up Raso, West Coast is the danger though, they are also putrid and we have them at home this year.

Caesar training report

Training Today Wednesday:

Had an appointment so only caught half an hour after they had finished the warm up so only a couple of points.

Lalor & Armstrong were out there away from the main group which looked to be management? and I think Armstrong needs a rest

Smith did some drills but managed a bit too, got a knock on Sat.

***Edit: I just got an update trackside Armstrong, Lalor and Smith have done the last 3 drills:love:

Smillie & Hugo training well as I left .

There was another PRE poster there who may add later?

That man is dedicated!
My Mum lives over the road from PRO and has just retired. I've asked her numerous times to walk over and watch training!!

FMD … I’m so sick of this narrative that Dimma was the sole driver of getting both TT and Hopper. It’s so ridiculously naive it’s not even funny any more.
Yeah it's on par with Louis the fitness guy being the reason for our injuries as opposed to the highly qualified medical people that deal with treatment and prevention of injuries... Physios!

when you inherit her place start a patreon and get campaigners to pay you for proper detailed reports. enough tiger nuffs like me would chip in to make it worthwhile.

Another training report from PRE

Just got back from training and some post training errands. Ohh and separating Suki and Roxy in a fight. Neither dog hurt but Suki is in the bad corner. Both are BCs.

Anyway training. No colour coding.

No Liam (understandable) or Nigel (understandable as well IMHO). I understand Dion did running early.

Rehab:
Only Taj was there the whole time. Did a power of running and agility and a few flat out sprints over 100. He either had a set # to do or a set time to beat before he could finish. Gut feel he was targeting a time. He hit it and was happy.
Josh G alternated between drills and rehab. Basically did every second drill. And then a solid set of running.

Missed a drill here or there.
As mentioned above Lalor and Harry missed 1 (maybe 2 ) drills but finished the final 3 drills.
Timmeh dropped out of the final drill about halfway through.

Full training
All the rest. Key watch on Smillie, Banks, Hugo and MRJ who all participated fully. If/when Smillie wins a contest and gets a metre clear... Watch out, he will hit a laser 45 metre plus pass onto someone's chest.

Key takeaways - Match Sim/ Stoppage Blitz (This seems to be the key drill)
  • Nank rucked against Blight. What that meant was that Mate played half back flank against Seth. Was fun to watch.
  • Banks played in black (normally probables).
  • Stand outs
  • Banks, Lalor (Blacks), MRJ ( Whites)
  • This was the highest intensity I've seen this drill for a while and there was a focus on effort, run and execution and there were some stunning full ground length chains. Banks and MRJ featured in said chains.

Other Obs
  • They are changing/evolving drills and splitting between learning, working on how to play opposition and then getting our gameplan up and running. Interesting to watch structural stuff evolve and improve.
  • Noah B looks leaner again and is working real hard.
  • Hugo training with the mids in the line drill. (Note: Wingers are always with the mids.)

Apologies for the lack of colour coding.

Our changes are going to be so underwhelming LOL

The melts will be the best part

Drama This Is Gonna Be Good GIF
