I see a couple of Dolphins RL players have pulled out of their game this Friday to stay home with families....

If they had of pulled out earlier they wouldn't have to worry about staying home.

Thanks SUNS.
A day without power yesterday was slow.
Todays been alright but the weather particularly the wind is picking up again now.
Stay safe mate!

The next 12 hours could be really challenging for all of us on the GC/SEQ as we wait for Alfred to make landfall.

Just remember everyone - don't be complacent. This could be very serious. Stay prepared.

Happy to say it was a fizzer on the Sunshine Coast.
The beach and cafe strip here has been packed all week and again this morning.
Hope those further south fared well too
I’m in Mermaid Beach and it’s reeked havoc, power out for days, trees blown over, endless rain

I’m so over Alfred that the next time someone introduces themselves with the name I’m going to kick them in the balls

Would the suns be better off selling the two home games to mcg than Darwin ?

To get more fans there, probably. For $$$? Sure. But an mcg game is more than likely to be a loud away game crowd than the Darwin games are a home fortress/tricky conditions for opponents

High quality social posting from GWS, as per usual.

I reckon there's an extremely high chance that we're going to play more than 1 game at the MCG next year. Commentators were raving about how attractive our style was to watch against the Dees and literally said on air that it was a shame we only play there once this year. Realistically, how many games can we really expect to play at the MCG each year? Maybe 3 max? I think I'd be happy with at least 2 if 1 is in the first half of the season and the other is towards the end of the season. Feels like a good outcome for us considering the low base we've come from. We have to remember there's only 4 permanent MCG tenants so there isn't as much opportunity for a non-Vic team to play there as some may think.
