I'm going to say something contraversial here. I'm not sure how Elijah and Harry could be sitting there watching this debacle and not be squirming in their seats. We all face hardship, harden up and get out there to help. I wish I was on $800,000 per year because I front up every day for a fraction of that no matter what.
Absolutely agree and I don’t want to knock either of the lads and sure don’t understand what they could be going through.
BUT. If that is not enough reason to get the internal fortitude to say I wanna fight for my mates and help a brother out then I dunno what is.
We live in a different world today but god is love to have those two professionally paid athletes out there.

And I suppose. Look
At the bright side.
If TDK LEAVES. We should get a number 1 draft pick as compensation rate.

Well no, Hawthorn will get #1 and we will get #2

True but what about training some sort of a system /game plan ?
I'd imagine that they do , I think it's execution under pressure rather than lack of a game plan.

Well one positive is that its probably shut up all of those "WHY ISN'T MOIR GETTING A FULL GAME!?!?!" posters.

Ya'll were told he couldn't even get through a half of VFL......
And in typical big brain moves that we do, we made him sub...

I don’t think tonight was fitness either sadly. I worry it’s game day coaching and teams have a chance at half time to reassess set up differently and we just aren’t clever enough to counter. We just keep trying to do the same thing

I asked AI for some ideas:

Improving second-half performance for Carlton (or any team) requires a multi-faceted approach. Here are some potential strategies:

1. Game plan adjustments: Analyze opponents' second-half strategies and adjust the game plan accordingly.
2. Fitness and conditioning: Ensure players are physically prepared to maintain intensity throughout the game.
3. Mental toughness: Develop strategies to maintain focus, motivation, and resilience under pressure.
4. Halftime routine: Optimize halftime breaks to recharge, refocus, and make tactical adjustments.
5. Player rotation and management: Manage player workloads and rotations to maintain fresh legs and minds.
6. Coaching and feedback: Provide constructive feedback and coaching during games to address areas for improvement.
7. Video analysis: Review game footage to identify patterns, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
8. Team cohesion and communication: Foster strong team dynamics, communication, and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.

By addressing these areas, Carlton can work towards improving their second-half performance and turning those games around!

Coming off a 6 day break too.

These players can hold their head high for trying atleast;

Saad
Walsh
Hewett
Haynes
Silvagni
Hollands.

Outside of that (and I’m not saying the above played well-they just tried) the rest can go **** themselves.
Can I please add White.
I thought as a debutant in amongst that mess he presented and tried.

You know I can handle the perennial failure, at my age it's mostly all I've ever known.

But I just wanted this mob to get another flag for my old man while he's around. Looks doubtful they ever will...

Anyone 60+ should be really bloody worried about ever seeing another one.

Walsh tried but he’s just average.
Hollands shits his pants 4 times a game.
Haynes had a go but sheesh.
Hewitt, SOS and Saad good. TDK did try, WW did his best.

Sad when AI is smarter than our entire coaching group.
