yeah im starting to see the benefits of giving him a few weeks in there to get accustomed to senior bodies before we throw him into the meat grinder.

Yeah, especially because if he does play AFL he will be spending a fair bit of time on the outside of the contest just due to his age and experience
Definitely no harm in getting him to spend a little time doing similar at the VFL
Even a stint off half back wouldn’t hurt

Saw he had 8 touches halfway through the second and only ended up with 10 for the game, did he get taken off? Injured?
Came on for two mins about 10 mins into the third and wasn't sighted after that.
Hopefully it was just planned management.
Heavily managed game time from what I noticed. I imagine they will ease him in week to week.
