Makcrawfather is the best mid we've had since the Hayes/Dal Santo/Goddard/Montagna era. He has incredibly high footy IQ, neat skills and is quicker than I anticipated. What a refreshing change it is to have him spotting up a leading target with a low bullet rather than our usual bomb it to the goalsquare method. His clearance work is brilliant as well

Watch him smash in all day and get hammered by the opposition. He never push’s and shoves or gets upset. Just moves on to the next contest and smashes in again.

I think we wanted to get Jacko to wherever he wanted to go. Also needed the salary dump but you certainly came out on top of this one. Kudos.

I see him as a bit like us letting Membrey go.
He wanted to play footy the way he's good at it.
They wanted to play their younger players.
If they knew Bont would be out for a bit ,we mightn't have gotten him so easily.

Salary cap as well, i hope we're paying him good cash, he deserves it.
We only have a few years to find replacements for both him and Steele.

Dogs used our pick to help prise the first rounder out of Geelong, and we'll all be watching Murphy Reid with interest.

The recruit of the year, he is even better with us than he was at the Dogs, he isn't playing for free kicks like he did at the Dogs.

He's not only skillful when it comes to clearances, he laid some big tackles today, probably should be our captain instead of Steele.

He is our leader in the midfield at least.

Early days but this is looking to be one of the best trades that the Saints have made in recent memory, with only the Jack Steele trade taking the number one slot. He is a seriously good footballer. Hopefully we can get 3-4 years of high level football out of him.

Its a pleasure for dogs fans to see him back getting the game time he deserves. He wasnt getting that time with us and Id rather see him play elewhere than waste his career in the magoos.
