Mac daddy is ourLovely bloke is Jack. I’m glad you are happy with him and I suspect he would be too.
Win/win trade as we needed to free some space for Sam Darcy and his couch ridden mate (JUH). Bevo is attempting to imitate the Hawks run and gun style of play and didn’t see Caleb and Jack being part of that. Particularly with the amount of salary they were taking. However Jack suits you blokes. Tough as, and has wonderful hands in close.

Watch him smash in all day and get hammered by the opposition. He never push’s and shoves or gets upset. Just moves on to the next contest and smashes in again.Makcrawfather is the best mid we've had since the Hayes/Dal Santo/Goddard/Montagna era. He has incredibly high footy IQ, neat skills and is quicker than I anticipated. What a refreshing change it is to have him spotting up a leading target with a low bullet rather than our usual bomb it to the goalsquare method. His clearance work is brilliant as well
I think we wanted to get Jacko to wherever he wanted to go. Also needed the salary dump but you certainly came out on top of this one. Kudos.Hats off to the list mgmt team, this was a recruiting masterclass not only to identify Macrae but to also bluff the Dogs into getting him for a 3rd round pick. Sam Power got outplayed

Sneaky for the Brownlow.
Yeah, I said it.
I think, getting him into the club has been the best thing from the club in a while. If he keeps it up, he will nearly win the B&F3 games in, averaging per game:
33 disposals
19 contested possessions
7 tackles
10 clearances
9 score involvements
This could be the year we stop losing the clearance differential.
Its a pleasure for dogs fans to see him back getting the game time he deserves. He wasnt getting that time with us and Id rather see him play elewhere than waste his career in the magoos.Early days but this is looking to be one of the best trades that the Saints have made in recent memory, with only the Jack Steele trade taking the number one slot. He is a seriously good footballer. Hopefully we can get 3-4 years of high level football out of him.
Certainly better than your grammarThis McCrux guy can football.
Absolutely elite and still going underrated by the media.Jack Macrae Watch 2024:
After 4 rounds, averaging per game:
32 disposals
18 contested possessions
9.75 clearances
9.5 score involvements
Some context at round 4:
Ranked 1st for contested possessions in the AFL
Ranked 1st for stoppage clearances in the AFL
Ranked 2nd for clearances in the AFL
Ranked 2nd for score involvements in the AFL
Ranked 2nd for disposals in the AFL
Ranked 9th for tackles in the AFL
Ranked 9th for score launches in the AFL
And this last one, a special shoutout to long time commenter and detractor Kane "Vol-Kane-O" Cornes who claimed recently Macrae's disposals "inflict zero damage", 4th for Fantasy Points in the AFL.
To paraphrase the "Vol-Kane-O"s former coach: Kane Cornes, you were wrong.
