Rules out Ibis for any AFL action this year, which is a huge shame.

Can we manufacture a pick in the MSD ?? If we wanted to.

Not unless they decide he's done for the season.
That’s the most annoying thing in terms of a list management point of view, is it sounds like it’s going to be one of those teasing timeframes in terms of if it rules him out for the year or not as with the syndesmosis damage it sounds like it will be similar to Errol Gulden’s recovery time, so he could miss around 12-14 weeks and not be ready to play until around round 17/18.

So do they not go to the MSD and give him the chance to play just say the last 6 weeks? I think if it’s anything like roughly getting back for the last 6 games of the H&A season they wouldn’t look to replace him in the list.

Injury Update

(As of Tuesday, April 8)

Toby Murray (ankle) TBC

Nick Murray (knee) 1-2 weeks

Josh Rachele (ribs) 3-5 weeks

Izak Rankine (calf) test
When was the last time we had a player return at the lower end of the projected return...

Shouldn't be. Should be Pedlar or Schoenberg or Berry in, Murphy delisted.

Also, who the hell is Ibis?

Toby Murray, he got called Ibis because he came home drunk one night and grabbed the roast chicken leftovers in the bin at his brothers house and ate them...so he is an Ibis, a bin chicken

Some intel. Murray has his knee drained today. So perhaps worse than the club is letting on?
This was literally yesterday:

"His brother Nick is making good progress in his return from a minor knee injury and is on track to play next weekend.

“Nick has trained well this week and will be involved in full training next week, and we’re anticipating if he gets through that he will be available for the GWS game in Round 6,” Burgess said."

Yeah I have to admit I was a little confused when I was told. My Mr Hienz is usually on the money. He didn’t know anything other than that. So muz might be fine anyway. We’ll see either way.

That’s the problem, you have to use Mr masterfood.

IMO opinion he is done for the year.

He is having surgery next week and considering its serious enough to warrant surgery - he is unlikely to be back to running till round 18. Considering he is 200cm - I doubt he will come back earlier than that.

The best option for the club would be to wait until right before the midseason draft. If we lose a player between now and then we put them on the INACTIVE list and grab a ruckman (and will still allow IBIS a chance to get back). If we have a fully healthy list we place TMurray on the INACTIVE LIST and grab an SANFL ruckman for coverage.
