LDU, Sheezel, Wardlaw (if/when fit) and FOS make a formidable midfield quartet.

Take LDU out and it thins out considerably.

It’s imperative he stays otherwise it sets the club back somewhat (and that’s including the thought you might get a top 4 pick for him).

Um, no. I'm about 100% sure he stays, with players managers + the timing of the announcement and a few other things there's no hurry to sign but for some supporters and opposition supporters + the media it is, no matter what happens against the Crows, I'm pretty sure one game of footy more so against one of the flag favourites is going to make one bit of difference.

In a nutshell he's been through the bad times and he wants to repay us for picking him in the National Draft, he loves the club, now I hear some saying but other players loved their club but loved the money more + maybe go somewhere and play in a team that can win the premiership, you know that's a good point and that's exactly the reason he's staying because very soon teams wont be laughing about us no more, in fact I think a few are going to get quite a shock.

We now have the talent and its slowly going to be seen this year, if you watched our games after the halfway point last year {except that last game} you would have seen what we are going to play like. Still need a few tweaks, but doesn't every team? If you've got a great job and have plenty of money and IF you could bet on whether he stays or goes, put it all on that he stays, the odds would be "Winx" like, but you'd have some pocket money to play with!

A lot depends on the what the compo will be, If North are bottom 4 again then they surely aren't losing out by letting him go. FOS will go past him quickly in the next few years.

I was pretty keen on him to come to my team, but he's been lacklustre.

Probably best he stays at the rabble that is North, so he doesn't have any added to become a bonafide superstar if he joins a rival.

A winning percentage of 20% over 8 years of football. You can’t blame the bloke for holding off signing a contract.

I think if they are right down the bottom again it might be one of those cases where it’s best for both player and club he moves.

We should eventually see a bit of improvement though and he will end up staying, but a bottom three or four finish isn’t out of the question.

It was pretty simple, we just can’t afford to lose any more talent coming into their prime.

Is it overs, maybe, but we can’t keep losing players in their mid 20’s and have to go back to the draft and go through another development phase until a player gets to LDU’s stage.

Well there has to be a very good reason for him to move and with LDU there never really was this year

He was there all through the bad days and got paid extremely well and will again for the next 7 years
LDU would have received more money so far than any player in his draft or age rand so he has to be loyal and love his club.
Success is the only thing left and no chance he gets to a top 2/3 club and gets paid the money he gets at north so he either gives up #2 mil plus or see's it through at North.

Brett Deledio would have been the best example of what not to do
