I admire your faith but we all know the players would have wilted to a slightly more capable team when we conceded the first goal in the third. I mean we did it against Richmond!!! When the pressure comes our players will go to water. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy they won but they need to beat North, Geelong, Adelaide and St Kilda before I have any confidence in the players being capable of delivering consistently enough to be a good football team. I suspect we’ll stumble at the first hurdle.

It’s true but he also isn’t a leader and imo is similar to someone like Daniher. If we get things right guys like that can still shine but will always be abit of a passenger.

Good to win but the opposition was terrible. We lowered the eyes in the first inside 50 then went back to bombing inside 50 in the second. WCE being not much chop didn't have the skill to capitalise on the turnover like other teams do.

He cannot defend. Again today showed it. How many times did he miss a punch or lose his man and cost us - 4 times? Offensive under no pressure - sure, but even I can kick to advantage under these circumstances. He costs us in big games against quality team.

Yes, 5 outside 50 to inside 50 marks today (not always goals). Very clear focus and good delivery. 20 touches. Good game.
Failed on his kicks for goal. 0.2 v 2.0 + 20...... huge difference.

I just hope he can do it under pressure in an important moment of a close game. I’m not sure I have ever seen him do it when it matters.

Wasn't a hell of a lot to like about the game today. It was ugly and very sloppy but it was a win.
I did like that they used Charlie up the ground and created mis matches deep in defence (WCE defence). That was a credit to the coaching staff. Long overdue to see us use something different mid game.
Great to see Durdin back, Carroll started well and Lord was good.
White shows a bit of promise as well.
I thought Motlop showed some good signs around the ground. Once he bags a few goals his confidence will increase.

I'd leave JSOS back there. He's a rock back there. Almost as impossible to get past as Weiters is.
Harry out with the concussion protocol opens the door for Lemmey. I'd bring him in and let him play as a forward/ruck. Moir for Kemp is a no brainer I reckon. Outside of those changes, I would maybe bring in L. Camporeale for Doc. While Doc has been improving over the last couple of weeks, he's definitely lost a yard and a half of pace and he's panicking a lot more these days.

He is a flat track bully. When the slightest pressure comes he goes to water. Sadly he has lots of friends at the club at the moment.
