Even though his disposal numbers weren’t particularly high I thought that Mead looked a lot better tonight. Seemed to relish the added responsibility in the midfield. Finished well in front of goal too. In many of his previous games I’ve felt that he tends to lack confidence in taking the game on himself and looks to defer to senior players. Glad to see him step up tonight.
