I'm so keen to just get this game done haha. Melbourne cant score against bad defenses and if there's one thing I've appreciated JL for watching other games is that we are really damn hard to score against (unless we completely fail to turn up) so I'm pretty damn relaxed about this one

I wouldn't be relaxed with the current weather forecast, which is showing solid rain through the duration of the game. Best thing possible for Melbourne. They will try to win the game 50-40. Hopefully the forecast changes.

Doesn’t seem that bad. 0-6mm isn’t that bad plus 27 degrees.

Good enough reason to run with just one ruckman (ie Darcy) and not two (Darcy/Reidy).

Hopefully you guys beat us by 130 points.

You guys get some valuable percentage and the media will be well and truly off Longmuir’s back (who incidentally is coaching extremely well the last 3 weeks).

We on the other hand can get rid of Goodwin who’s driving our club into the ground.

The ultimate win/win for both parties.

Throw in kozzie and its a deal

I know Melbourne have been putrid, but of course we are going to run into them the week after all the heat from the Melbourne media is directed their way, and we are off a 6 day break playing in the heat.
Up until this week Melbourne have avoided it and it's all been sent Calrton's way, but these blokes are absolutely in the gun and they want blood... kinda feel a bit of a banana skin coming.

Or, we'll flog them by 90 points like last year.
We do match up against them well, especially away but I think you're right.

Its hard to imagine a team with their talent and relatively recent success could plummet to 0-6 with a handful of stars on their list still.

They'll absolutely throw the kitchen sink at us and I hope Voss/Jackson out doesn't make this a step too far.

This feels like it could be a banana skin, but that could just ne being a Freo supporter. If Goodwin has lost the team, they may be dialling it in and we'll pump them. Their talls are slow so I'd expect Treacy and Amiss to get some looks, and they're pretty neutered up front. They do have some big midfielders, and we've suffered against bigger trams out of the middle. Again though, don't think they're that quick, so our handball game will likely be effective, even if they pressure. Hopefully Bolton will have a successful return to the G and have a nice chat with Kozzie.

The club itself is driving the club into the ground.
The board are doing nothing.
They will be begging the AFL for more assistance like before. A free CEO, free coach, special compensation player wise.
There is no way they they win the Covid flag without the AFL.
The players are making a statement, and it ain't good.

I’d be happy with either Draper forward or Riddle into the team to play forward ruck (he kicked 3 in a wafl preseason game)
We’ve been playing too tall in the backline and Melbourne only played two talls last week.
Bring in Wagner (if Fit) or Aish.
Ryan Pearce Chapman
Worner Cox Clark
Aish/Wagner on the bench as 7th defender is still a pretty good backline.

My brother wants JLo to go and wants bad results for Fremantle.

One step back and two steps forward.
