Why? Everyone is guessing.

Noone actually knows.
There has not been 1 iota of evidence that he will play this year. If you chose to believe it is possible, fine, but it is way past the optimistic view now

We're in round 6 🤪
Round 6 and is still not in full training.

He will need a 6 to 8 week pre season to even be considered that has not yet started and was supposed to be playing VFL by now

A week or 2 ago it looked like things would have been ramping up, now it’s gone backwards closer to 0 again.

My last post in this thread now.

What a waste of talent and what a waste of draft/potential trade capital we had to give up to match the bid. They may have been from mid-2nd rounders on, but you can still find gems to develop and at least hopefully role players. All of that for what will turn out to be next to nothing, 1 late first rounder at best we will be rinsed for.

Absolute shit show.

What’s our actual level of recourse here?

What if he decides to just do the same thing on an ongoing basis and 12 months later we’re in the same predicament?

This could be a scenario where he’s just not interested in training or playing and is now just doing the absolute bare minimum so the healthy funds keep appearing in his bank account.

Players hiding behind the mental health card has been happening for years. They do it because they know it’s a haven where the media won’t dare to go and nobody will ever call them out for it.
All it serves to do is trivialise a very real and very debilitating health condition. For mine the people (along with their management) who exploit a system that is designed to protect the vulnerable in order to avoid scrutiny are lower than shark shit.

I see this phrase 'mental health card ' get bandied about on bigfooty. I presume it means that you assume players are using drink or drugs to get wasted & miss training , then claiming it's actually a mental health problem?

Where's the evidence that this has occurred?
Has any player come out and said their mental health is suffering? Has Jamarra?
Given that suicide is one of the leading causes of death for young men in Australia , are these comments helpful ? (An even higher rate for young indigenous men. Of course)
Is it possible to go out and party and enjoy yourself in public , but still have poor mental health ?
What does 'exploiting the system' mean? What is Jamarra gaining from this?
How do you know what his state of mind is? Psychiatry is still an inexact science that almost totally relies on evidence provided by the patient, unless they are psychotic.

Clubs have barrages of doctors, psychologists . They doubtless have access to top psychiatrists. It's not as if Bev has a quick look at Jamarra's insta and diagnoses the 'mental health.'

I suffer from severe bi polar. I've been hospitalised a few times on the psych ward and survived a suicide attempt. If someone says they have a mental health problem, you listen . Too many people, especially men,put on a brave face and told no-one before they ended their lives .

(Turns out I was in a pretty manic state when I ran for the Bullfogs board a few years ago, but I have no regrets)

Saw Juh and his time off being questioned on 7 news a few minutes ago. Footage of him on social media acting like a 12 yr old and them saying "its becoming an embarrassment for the Bulldogs with his social media and the things he's giving likes to." 🫤
Sheesh, is that the crap he lives for now? Being a clown and embarrassment for the club. He needs to be cut loose.
