I think West Coasts first quarter shows the standard for them, it wasn’t necessarily pretty football but their intensity completely destroyed our game plan and they cut us up on the rebound.

For me Big ticks for eagles young fellas in Hough, Hewett and Williams, found some gems and hopefully a win just around the corner as tonight could have very easily gone their way.

For us, some big challenges ahead with Draper joining Bryan on the bench for the rest of season. Let’s see how the veteran Goldy goes eh?

all those boundary target set shots cost us, especially with sharpshooters like Cripps and Liam on an inaccurate night for them. Got to the point where I dreaded a mark out there rather than towards the hot spot.

still, a tight loss to the bombers is nid. Losing by two points to them is a familiar cursed feeling. They were deserving in the end, several players from them to appreciate last night.

just a shame to let off another big lead. We were 6.0 at one point. Liked the game of Hewett who looks back to his promise, and it was an interesting game in the career of the maligned Flynn as well, seemed directed to present more around the ground, didn’t always work out but at least Mini is trying to find out what he can offer. Maric continues to consolidate his role down back.

I'd rather a few more home games....you know like you guys get. About 18 a year

And then you can know what it's like to finish outside of the 8 and still get the hardest fixture for the next year. And then the AFL will make you play a couple of your home game at Bunbury, or some other stadium that is not Optus, just because.

You're talking about Collingwood? Premiers who finished outside the 8 after a draw against the eventual premiers? Who are now doing pretty well this year?

Very very sorry for Draper out for the season, you could see he knew it too poor guy. I don’t care who you barrack for seeing that is just shit all around.

You haven't won a final in how many years?

Take my team out of it, if you want to discuss how diabolical Carlton are, let's go to a Carlton thread. I'm commenting on your loser supporters with their lame traditions after scrapping over the line.

Can't wait to flog you blokes.
Because you smashed West Coast and North? Lmao.

Beating Carlton is pretty simple. Be capable of running. That's it.

facetiousness noted but the facts remain you will never have to play in any remote places like Bunbury not have to travel 80kms a season and have players retirements fast tracked and increased injuries because of the impacts of travel.
You just enjoy 18 home games and the gf at your home ground by default and add the corruption of Victorian umpires
Most corrupt sport in history
