Also, only 11 disposals but went at 90%, had 5 marks and a few tackles. Building nicely.

Thought he had way more of it than that. Was very prominent early on.

the fact he got given some genuine responsibility in the last quarter and they immediately got ascendency is impossible to ignore. he's 25 this year, not a kid, no one's expecting dominance but he should be at least a reliable second ruck option by now. he got 7 hitouts, 4 touches and 0 marks in 55% game time, you reckon blight couldnt hit those lofty numbers?

I was impressed with the team strategy of targeting Mac Andrews direct opponent early last night. Our mids and high forwards specifically went to Faull as the deep target ti give the kid an opportunity but, also, to keep Andrews accountable.
And it worked.
We also targeted him physically and verbally, appreciating that we could get under his skin and throw his game. As a result, we got a bonus goal from him retaliating and meant he couldn't peel off his direct opponent to close down our other forward entries.
So, when rating Faulls game, we also need to appreciate that he was on their best defender and had to keep him accountable.
Great game from all the team.

Vlas easily BOG. But tonight I'm giving my vote on this thread to one of the whipping boys for his last qtr alone. Tresize. Put his head over the footy, took the hits and heap of 1% percenters when Gold Coast were coming.

Yep. I haven’t been a fan of Trezise but he was enormous in that last quarter especially.

The AFL suspended Balta and so did the club. Suspension served.
