The weird part about that one is it’s hard to isolate who really played well outside of a few, but there were a lot of players who were rock solid.

Exceptional return from Bont, Naughton was a wildcard (but wtf half the time), West was high impact from not many touches.

Davidson and Freijah have been great and Cooper was a fair bit better this week.

How was Buss, or Smith in the ruck?

Buss was prolific, was among our best but disposal could do with tidying up and could be better one on one, but not really fair to expect him to be the perfect player before debuting.

MUCH worse players have got games this year throughout the AFL. He’s due for the shot, he’s ready.

Smith was very good once again. It’s entirely possible English goes forward more and we bring in Smith but that’s less likely I think. He’s close to the best state league ruck this year, has improved rapidly, but think given how long Buss has had to wait, I’d be surprised if Smith does get his shot this soon despite being close to ready

Sanders played a brilliant game. 32 disposals and had a major influence all night. Led fantasy points as well.

Freijah continues to build. He is special.

Was surprised that West only had 10 disposals. Probably one of the best games I've seen him play. He's very good in that role of the low possession, high impact small forward.

Shattered for Big Sam, but he will win us a flag/s off his own boot in the years to come. As for this year, I think it's now a miracle we're at 3-3 and it shows we have something a lot of clubs don't and that's heart.

We could've rolled over given our luck and injuries but to keep fighting and have got to where we are makes me enormously proud.

That Libba rundown, that is this club. That should inspire every single player for the rest of this year and beyond.
