The on ground acl test is sufficient. They don’t even send them to hospital immedialty for scans as they know on ground from that test. Let’s hopes Darcy is the one who proves that test to incorrectly diagnosed .

Maybe we switch the plan and play small up forward. Have Norton and Bontempelli as the two talls and surround them with West, Kennedy, Dolan, McNeil etc.

To move Lobb up forward would smack of desperation, giving up strength to try to cover up a weakness. It's not exactly a killer move.

Agreed. This gives us a chance to be unpredictable again. Oppo teams have been planning on us being Darcy focused and now we have the chance to mix it right up.

It would help if we had the goal kicking smalls but we just don’t.

Naughton & West are the only semi reliable goal scorers. The rest just cannot be relied upon.

Admittedly only watched bits & pieces of the VFL today but he didn't look ready for AFL to my eye.

Davidson runs so hard I got tired just watching him.

But even better is that he just does the little things well, such as applying body pressure, getting a hand or foot in to deflect the ball, or hitting a target in traffic.

I know there were a lot of good players. But Sanders was among our best 3 or 5 for probably his first time in his career. That's probably the best positive to come out of tonight - after some (justified) doubts about his development he proved today what the upside is and why he's rated so highly.

29 uncontested possessions, most of them in dangerous forward of venture areas. He just knows where to run to win the ball. It's a skill that players with 10 more years in the league don't have.

I just can’t see Arty making it at senior level unfortunately.
I maintain that Cody is in our top 5 for most important players. If not for injury would’ve kicked 40+ last year. Can play small, tall, and rotate through the midfield. We miss him more than Adz.

Our bottom tier have overall been really solid this season. If only we didn't have injuries and those off the rails we would definately be in for a shot. But unfortunately i think that is gone now. So we keep rolling with giving responsibility to the new breed and its all a bonus from here.

Would like to see more forward time for Bont. Keep Sanders and Freijah developing into gun mids. Rotate Smith, Buss and Croft into the side.

Dolan does some really nice things good vision and mostly makes good decisions when he has the ball in hand
