Lobb will not go forward. He has cemented his spot there. It would destabilise the whole backlineI'm a no for sending Lobb forward, he is too valuable down back. Maybe a mosquito fleet of smalls around Naughton could do the job. I'm looking at you Arthur Jones.
He had a broken jaw….Especially knowing what we know now regarding JUH
Deplorable decision

3 not guaranteed after last years debacleHow TF is bont $26 for the brownlow after missing 5 rounds??
He got 3 tonight but wow...
Has great endurance but also does it at a high tempo. Such a valuable commodity to have going to have a good career with us I thinkLate game and it was already iced i watched Davidson run all the way back (from the F50) to inside the defensive 50 to provide a kick out option, which wasn't used, and then seconds later he was back around the F50. Incredible runner
Don’t know about not being one but Gia and Morris both avoided surgeryHave we ever had a suspected ACL turn out not to be one after scans
He was strictly available and played VFL the week before, but my guess is they didn’t think he was right. It seemed obvious he should be selected.Broken Jaw
Both had a partial tear. Morris actually did it twice, one on each knee. Eventually he did one fully and that was it for him.Don’t know about not being one but Gia and Morris both avoided surgery
Is already. If he can play mid while Bont rests forward….look out. He’s a beast.
At one centre bounce last night we had Sanders, Freijah, Davidson, Richard’s and Libba. I think the mids are ok going forward

Also not on a potential generational talent early in his career. It's more a last year or two type situation. Too many risks early in a career to rush a comeback. Both had a partial tear. Morris actually did it twice, one on each knee. Eventually he did one fully and that was it for him.
Gia did it preseason in 2008 and looked done, then rapidly came back and had one of his career best years.
It’d be great but I don’t think it happens all that often.
“Z Jones…three votes”3 not guaranteed after last years debacle
Have to like even with all the injuries that we are then given the chance to expose some young talent to the top level and they are contributing meaningfully Dolan , Davidson and even Hynes was much better this week. The future looks good if we can get some troops back from injuryRe-appoint Bevo now. He has the team playing for each other. You can see it the immediate acknowledgement of the team for the one percenters (the tackles, the smothers, the chases). There may be a better tactical coach this season but he is number 1 at getting his team to perform under adversity even the losses we have been in all the games. No Bont to round 6, no JUH, no ADZ, No Cody now no Sam.
The injuries and JUH issue will get us in the finish, but it will not be Bevo's fault.
I think it’s like Gia there’s no surgery involved and you just wait for it to heal as best it can and go again and there isn’t much risk - worst case is a full tear and reco which is your alternative anyway but in Gia’s case it healed sufficiently. Also not on a potential generational talent early in his career. I’d be in favour at this stage. Maybe wait till mid-season but if things keep going this way I think he will have earned it.Re-appoint Bevo now. He has the team playing for each other. this is also a big risk. Giving the acl time to heal naturally often times results in re-injury (as do all current recovery options to varying degrees). I'd rather him go for a traditional surgery and be back in a yeah then let it heal naturally, tear it again and then need to be out for a year for a surgery at that point anyway.I think it’s like Gia there’s no surgery involved and you just wait for it to heal as best it can and go again and there isn’t much risk - worst case is a full tear and reco which is your alternative anyway but in Gia’s case it healed sufficiently.
At least the LARS fad has passed.this is also a big risk. Giving the acl time to heal naturally often times results in re-injury (as do all current recovery options to varying degrees). Feel bad for Darcy if it is an acl or PCL (the reason I mention PCL is the overextension of the knee).
They will find out today via scans what it is.

That was the game where Wally snapped his leg wasn’t it?Will never forget the Saints game where Clay went down at half time whilst we held a 50 odd point lead and then bottled it. Proud they not only won tonight but came from behind after the Darcy injured happened.
Wallis snapped his leg and Redpath tore his ACL in the same game. Was probably the most miserable I’ve ever felt after a game. That was the game where Wally snapped his leg wasn’t it?
Nah I took my kids to that game. Their first live game, interstate trip. Picked the Saints as thought it a likely win. Not only did we lose but Wallis broke his leg and Redpath did his knee. Let's just say it was a quiet and somber train ride back to Footscray. The train was packed (with dog's supporters) but you could hear a pin dropWasn’t that the same game that Mitch broke his leg? **** I hate the Saints

Consecutive years and both nightmarish.Wasn’t that the same game that Mitch broke his leg? **** I hate the Saints
