If you watch the game again the Dogs were kissed on the dick by a Chinaman. Every blind kick went down their throats, every stray bounce went their way, every errant handball or kick went straight to one of them. A few of them even stuck marks they didn’t even know they had.
And nothing went our way except them hitting the posts

Was at the game on the wing. We got smashed in the centre clearances. When we got it back in back third we ran and tried to link up and there was no space, went wide on a switch there was no space. Hill and NAS tried to break the lines again space was closed down.
Lyon was pantsed in the box vy Beveridge and I reckon he knows it ego is not his problem.

Dogs have two very tall well rated backs we had no one to compete height wise down there,...ball came out too easily and they were clean with their ball use we were not especially when the pressure to play catch up happened towards end of second quarter....game over from there.

Bagging Steele is not solving the problem. You cannot lead from the front if you are on the sideline. Bloke has pride and wants to lead even when perhaps he shouldn't.
Personally I would play him full forward, he takes a good contested mark and is a very straight kick.

We really miss Clarke and Jones is sadly not the answer. Stocker could be worth a go but he is not quick. Pity Dow is not ready to experiment but shit happens. Caminti is looking more comfortable as each week goes by.

We would have taken 3 and 3 at the start of the season and Freo are fragile away from home, so could be 4 and 4 with troops coming back.

I have noticed more blow ours from games this year, this was another example.

Expect a different game plan/style against Lions, as RTB does what we pay him to do counter punch....HARD

I don't agree it's quite that bad, but I don't think he'd be captain at basically any other club and that shows how little leadership we have. Wilkie the only real leader at the club imo.

The bloke is injured and yes he probably shouldn't be declaring himself fit but it's because he wants to be out there leading. I reckon you're way off the ball on your criticism of him, his performance has been poor this season but labelling him soft is inaccurate.

7 touches and 2 marks in consecutive weeks is pretty disappointing from your future superstar intercept defender at VFL level.

I know it's early and I'm not saying it was a mistake drafting him or anything like that. Would like to see some more impact soon though. Box is already showing that he's a level above.

Well...what you should do, is write a strongly worded email to the club about how you're going to turn this team with your knowledge on drafting, tell them you should be head recruiter because your knowledge will win the next 15 flags for us


then log back onto bigfooty when every person and their dog is also saying that you should have drafted so and so.

really have no idea why people dont just get behind the players we have drafted instead of just waffling on over what could have beens
