Why does everyone keep Macintosh in the side. He was the last player signed and he is a fossil with no future yet we keep playing him ahead of the kids. Please don’t say leadership because we have Lynch in the forward line, Taranto & Hopper in the middle and Vlastuin & Broad in defence. When we are winning we don’t need his leadership and when we are losing he doesn’t provide any leadership. So unless he can change a 100 point loss into a competitive loss then play the kids.
WTF we are doing well in the centre due to him shutting down elite mids. Best season I see from him as he doesn't even make silly mistakes like he used to. Totally deserves his spot.

I have the solution guys hear me out the Michael's way!
After ruling his family friends distance from him. He pretends to be homeless so he can claim any space as his home. So play three quarter's vs Melb and go put up a little tent outside MCG there for solves it all I can't believe not one bright spark has thought of that :D
Now whats 2 divided by 2

don't think sims will be given a go, not ready yet for me, and hasn't been that 2nd ruck for most of the vfl games anyway

blight seems the obvious ruck/fwd replacement but i wouldn't be surprised to see bauer back in, 4 goals on the weekend, should've been more, but also for whatever reason he was the one we'd play as 2nd ruck even though he's our shortest tall forward and that was even with fawcett in the side. although that was also before we played blight as the 2nd ruck so who knows, and unsurprisingly the 192cm bauer wasn't that competitive in the ruck

i wanna see gray get the call up for balta though, love his work in the vfl, would like to see how it goes on afl quality talls

also hated seeing trainor as the sub, just like i hated bauer as the sub. just hate talls as the sub tbh, feel like it's meant for flankers/versatile mids who can play on all lines, especially since even if a tall goes down, we have players who can play taller down back like broad, vlastuin, and obviously trainor if he was on the field. the only time we'd be screwed if a tall went down would be nank, but we can't plan our sub around that. also having a tall as the sub means we're gonna most likely have to sub off a tall unless we wanna have an extra tall in the 4th quarter of a game, when usually you'd want a fresh runner

Rent a house in punt road?

Most of our potential second rucks are also spuds in the forward line:
Ryan, Miller, Kozitshke, OHB, Collina. Sims not quite ready yet, Blight still better down back, IMO.

Miller, Blight, even Kozi are OK down back - but they don't like disrupting the backline by using one as second ruck.
Gray could be an option - has a decent leap to at least contest if he is smart enough to keep away from the body on body grappling at boundary throw ins. But again - has been playing down back.

Is McIntosh able to make some sort of contest against Gawn like we used Griggs back in the day?

I think at some point the redevelopment was going to kick off meaning we wouldn't be able to play home games at Punt Road. Could be that?
Yes.
Played Frankston last week, but the match before they mentioned last Punt Rd match for the season.

We need more dedicated VFL threads. I've only just realised it's 11am tomorrow.
Cracking morning beers instead of going to work tomorrow.

Would go but way to long a drive from Craigieburn

Blight isn't playing. Confirmed changes so far are Gray and Mansell in for Balta and Ryan.

Sonsie, Smith and Bauer were also at Captain's Run.
Hopefully Trainer is not the sub this time. Sonsie would be great to sub and have an explosive qtr +

Could be enough to break the Dees....
