Spotted this during this years Swans v Power PF. Looks like grey replacing teal in the old tripanel. There was a photo much earlier floating around somewhere with the same look that turned out to be a very greyish-teal

Honestly, it looks like our original 90s preseason jumper, if I'm not mistaken. Our original teal was darker prior to the 2000s.

As someone who has a number of screenprinting-era Souths kits, this is probably just those green dyes fading over the years.

I've got that jumper somewhere at my parents house back in SA. It's a very dull teal. Even duller after all these years.

Yeah I had a feeling it was purely faded and not straight up grey

Did some digging and found the jumper I was referring to

Always interesting to see what jumpers overseas footy teams are wearing.
The USAFL Power team got their hands on Port's 2013 NAB Cup guernseys, which completely lack sponsors.

This jumper is a little interesting to me. Port bolt jumper with silver instead of teal, has the teal just faded so much to become silver or was it a training jumper? Or even a prototype?

Applying only saturation shows it is a faded shade of teal/sky-ish

Took the liberty of correcting it to it's brand new condition

This is art.

Not sure if this one's been posted (sorry if so - I'm sure it's been mentioned), but was in the Middle Park Hotel today and came across this Fitzroy Bulldogs jumper on display.

Sorry, hard to get a decent shot without a lot of reflection from outside on the glass.
You can see why The Footscray fans didnt want to have a bar of it lol

Spotted these on one of those AFL buy swap sell groups
North Melbourne's 150th anniversary away jumper but seems a tad off
The stripes don't touch the yoke. Intentional or misprint?

The longy on the right has a blue collar and white shoulder panels

Also, looking at the release graphic, the front collar is blue

Inclined to think these are misprints. Never seen such a complex template faked to that degree and I distinctly remember the tags having that free entry to one game thing at the time because I used the link on it without buying a jumper at the time. Would be an incredibly crazy thing to fake and I also wouldn’t be surprised if these were removed from circulation all those years ago by the person who is selling them.

Munners landing an absolute stunner. It reminded me from when we'd search AFL IP trademarks for unused logos and jumpers and in there was a prototype for a Hawks Diamond jumper, but in white. Makes you think, could there be a rarer white version out there!?

Can anyone shed light on this Bombers logo? Found it on an eBay auction from a site which has a stack of previously archived 90s Full Boar gear which leads me to believe it is someone linked to John Gearman (designed for Full Boar and great example of nominative determinism!). Could this have been a proposed new Bombers logo in the 90s and this shirt is a sample? He did logos for Manly, Illawarra, Gold Coast Titans, Cairns Taipans amongst others so not a stretch to think maybe he submitted this to the Bombers prior to them going with the current logo?

Numerous Nike Collingwood PI's have popped up on eBay, I grabbed 2 away/clash jumpers and what's interesting is the sponsors mirror the Home jumper ones. Could it be that Collingwood were going to revert to the classic kit as the home kit with their first year under Nike?

there was rumours about it happening when nike took over weren't there?

they should bring back the black collar + cuffs on the white-based guernsey

I'd say the ship has sailed on them not having to produce a Clash jumper at all, which was the original thought behind it.
The whole idea of the mostly Black Collingwood jumpers was to avoid clashing with Geelong & North.
At the time Port had more Teal on the front and White on the back & StKilda were mostly Red, so Black was seen as a non-Clash colour.

Saved these from Facebook this late August. Seems like what could've been St Kilda's 1999 home jumper + if Tooheys continued sponsoring them. It has the 1999 style cuffs and collar but with all 3 colours and faded colours spreading from each end of the stripes oddly only affecting the front. The cut tag suggests it's a factory second or prototype, still a vibe to look at though

Those cuffs and collars would've suited this Saints number

You've seen St Kilda's 1999 Puma prototype, now comes Hawthorn's that sold yesterday on eBay for $100 (I should know, I bought it 😁)

1999 style collar but with more pinstripes, no Puma logo on the front or a jock tag on the bottom right, still got the reflective old AFL logo watermarks

Hawks1998.png
The AFL logo and Samsung logo are closer together just like the 1998 jumpers

Hawks1999.png
The following season saw a much larger gap between them

I'll post some more angles of it when it arrives

Pinstriped cuffs should have never died

worth collecting, but I'm glad they rejected it!

Here she is. No hidden extras unfortunately, but regardless, it's a banger of a piece (Click each image for full res.)
