Individual preparation is on the individual. Team preparation is on the coach/leadership group. Ultimately football is a team sport.

Hang on, so you saw how Longmuir prepared the players? That he didn’t inform the players that this was a danger game & Melbourne had been through the wringer all week with the media?

That the players are human & didn’t react to the information given to them & found themselves under the pump from a desperate opposition who despite what’s been said on here have a couple of good players still running around.

When the issues at hand have been consistent for years then it’s on the coaching staff. If players aren’t following directives on a semi regular basis then why hasn’t there been a big name dropped?

I dont blame our forward or back lines, its 100% on our midfield group and the coaching group, clearances, contested ball and ground ball gets, when you cant win one to save your life then you cant play on your terms and are chasing tail and getting embarrassed.

We have no plan B when the midfield gets tagged and blanketed , they muscle the ball from inside to outside and we are chasing tail for four quarters.

The fact that we all know what Longmuir will say in his press-conference because we have heard the same shit after piss-poor performances so often in his tenure says a lot. The fact that the leadership at the club have no balls and will do nothing despite these performances happening time and time again says a lot about the pathetic cowards in charge. The fact that they even had Longmuir sign a ****ing contract that lets them sack him whenever they want but refuse to do it is quite frankly ridiculous.

We need somebody in the WA media to show some ****ing balls instead of playing buddy buddy with the club and ask the hard questions of not only JL but Garlick as well.
