Kuol Mun would take time...It looks like that's his first "big" game.
Raw AF but would have a really high ceiling (at the right club/development program)

DC would be good but I just don't know if we can afford to trade for him, especially given our dire midfield.
We need to bring in as much talent as possible there too.

Basically, we're ****ed unless a miracle happens.

Yeah, I don’t think BWill is a ruck and now he is taking the big grabs (all be it in the WAFL) it time to try him at CHB.

Need to find a project (Kuol Mun) while also trying to keep Flynn honest.

Realistically the short term fix is nowhere unless D Cameron decides he wants to come back to WA end of 2025 and would cost our second round pick probably.
More likely we can convince him to come home end 2026 with a 3 year contract and we will trade BW out when he comes.

We are delisting Barnett & Jamieson and retaining Livingstone for another year to develop, not sure if he is a ruck going forward though but deserves another year.

Target L McAndrew from ADE, almost 25, 209cm and on a rookie contract, UFA so realistically offer him a contract to get him out of ADE at the end of this year, worst he can be is a good tap ruckman to advantage.
Others would have better knowledge of his abilities but with limited options these are what I can see.

Some people are so critical of our midfield brigade and smaller players, when the fact is we don’t have an AFL quality ruckman on our list, we are literally getting annihilated in the ruck every game, so our mids are constantly 2nd to the ball or contest.

is serious about coming back to WA, I hope we are doing everything in our power to make sure he gets here.
If there’s a standout Ruckman in the MSD then take them.
Look and plan through the national Draft for a future Ruck too.
Barnett, Jamieson, Williams, and Flynn are not the answer.
Archer Reid may be an option, looks talented.

Clearances are the problem. Who cares if you lose the ruck contests, the midfield need craft and grunt to win the ball and clear it.

Find the ruck in the off season by offering some stupid money on someone. Until then, at the MSD find a midfielder

Cameron will be 30 soon, Flynn just came up against the best ruckman in the AFL. Barnett & livingstone are still young give them a chance to develop. If they still arent performing in 3 years time then maybe look at dropping them.

I don’t know how you watch West Coast and look at their list and come to the conclusion we should blow pick 1 and 2 on talls or Greeves, lol.

Though I do agree to a point, I look at the list and see a desperate need for a powerful modern day ruck.... CDT is just that, and Greeves is a big bull who gets his hands on the ball and uses it well, Duursma is a very good user of the ball, and Curtain is a gun at both ends of the ground and we desperately need a big elite backman that can intercept, lockdown and launch a counter. its a bonus that he can play forward as well.. so yeah I do see a need......lol

Too tall. We'll never be competitive if we don't start targeting elite ground ball players with a turn of speed.

I do agree to a point, but unless we start getting first hands on the ball ( our contested game is putrid) it won't matter how many elite ball users we have unless we can get the ball to them. Both Duursma and Greeves are very good users of the ball. Yeo is just about done, Hewett is still simmering and Reid is unlikely to stay. If Reid goes ( hello Essendon or Richmond) we can still get a Josh Lindsay, Fred Rodriguez or a Sam Grlj.
