I was a little surprised Chad was BOG.. splitting hairs, but barely saw him in the last quarter compared to others. He was very good but yeah not sure he was our best imo

Rowbottom a much better 4 qtr effort this week. McInerney made mistakes yes, but he found the ball so that is a positive. Wicks very reliable and we knew he was quick.

Hamling and Francis contested well if only we had Papley to crumb those contests. I wonder if Sheldrick could play a forward crumber? McCartin, Melican and Rampe all good. Best game Rampe has had this year.

Cox had a good day in the box. Putting Hamling on Buckley was telling. Francis kept Taylor busy and negated his impact. Very smart coaching.



I still think Blakey out of the backs would be good. I think he would make a sensational mid.



The backs were good. Pity Melly won't be there next week. He really took Bedford out. That was a Roller Game Special.



Chad won the Bret Kirk Medal but I thought our most valuable player today was Rowie. I also want to give a big shout out to Cleary and Corey Warner. Both sensational. I would also like to thank Gus for doing goal kicking practice during the week. It wasn't a great kick but it made it through the middle and that's all that counts.

Wicks was wonderful. He is gold this bloke. Bice was good. Lizard great but needs more room putting him on Stringer was a mistake. He just isn't lockdown defender.



I loved Heeney & Chad. Both were great. But the bit players were great today. Wil came good. McLean was wonderful. Grundy destroyed Briggs. Ollie was very good. Macca still needs to clean up his disposal. But he got plenty of it. High ball drop is getting him caught HTB.

Now to the cheating Craven Dogs in Lime Green. How many effing frees can you overlook? How many effing shitty, tippy touch freezes can you give them? Cheating bunch of inept mongrels. None of these umpires, if that is what they are called, not GWS Toadies. They were worse that Dickhead Dutton and less honest.

I think Rampe was sensational, thought he looked like he was cooked at times this year, I think matching him on a shorter player and not asking him to take on the bigger forwards is the best way to go now, he has performed miracles over the years but he can’t reasonably be expected to do it now

Hung in there , a lot better with the basic skills sets this week. Stayed in the contest for all four quarters.
Wicks is a revelation , Cleary is starting to really shine and his speed even in the last quarter was exceptional. The experienced players turned up today Rampe who I thought was toast after his start to the year was excellent. Heeney Warner made a huge difference.
With a makeshift forward line to get to 87 points was a great effort and with the chances we created could have easily got over a hundred.
Worst petty umpiring I have seen for a long time. They were determined that they would be the centre of attention.
We are still in it , just need two or three players back and we will be much more competitive against the better sides.
