Is that correct? Thought he would be closing on 50.
It surprised me as well. Feels like he's been a mainstay for years, but in reality he's barely managed a full season's worth of games.

Drafted in 2019, doesn't play any matches in 2020.
2021 (1 match) - debuts in round 13, gets 3 touches and is dropped again.
2022 (4 matches) - has to wait until round 19 to play again, gets four games before being dropped for the final round of the year.
2023 (12 matches) - doesn't play until round 11, then is subbed off and also misses round 12. Finally solidifies his spot in round 13 and plays the rest of the year.
2024 (13 matches) - plays the first 9 matches before injury, doesn't come back until round 21.
2025 (2 matches) - and counting.

He really has made up for the disaster that was McAsey.

Actually thought Saturday was a down game for him (some poor errors in D50), but not at all worried about his progress. He's outstanding and it looks like he's adding that attacking layer to his game.

Watching all our backs, I'll allow some mistakes because they've clearly been coached to be more attacking.
I'm happy with this in spite of the added risk.

Absolutely agree in general, but not sure that extends to poorly executed handballs in D50. It's fine, probably just early season cobwebs.

Another one criminally underrated outside the club. Don't reckon that'll be this way for long.

Brings so much to our defence. Love the way he plays and reckon he's got a few tricks up his sleeve we're yet to see.

This is anothe

This is another convenient anti-Nicks myth. He’s said himself several times that he wasn’t ready for AFL football and it was good for his development to be held back a bit.
Also in his after match press conference noted that Jordan Dawson showed him how to prepare to be a more professional athlete and he wouldn't be the player he is today without that help.
