Any word on how the big 3 talls are tracking going into the Showdown? I can't say with any honesty that any of them looked 100% against Carlton. They all still contribute to making he Crows forward line very hard to play against, but it would nice for any of them to start to move like they were in the first month.

Id imagine both Fog and Filthy are fine, better for the run. Tex ?? He'd be a week to week management thing.

I cant say im too worried really, we kicked 16 goals without them needing to do much.

The three headed monster kicked just 4 goals and we still beat the Blues by 10+ goals.

Port wont stop us scoring once the ball is inside our forward 50m.

We just need to make sure we come close to breaking even in the midfield to win the game.

Not every side is going to turn up and not apply pressure like Carlton. But 2025 Port might. Reckon Fog will be better, not sure with TT’s finger and doubtful Tex’s body will improve until a rest or a 8-9 day break. The only thing that I’m confident about with Port this week is Butters getting fined.

Showdowns can get a little ugly in the crowd sometimes, and this one already has a bit of a sour smell about it. I’m glad they’re not having the players beat up the ‘hatred’ this week, it could go sideways easily enough.

Hoping for a super hard fought game without nastiness on or off the field.
They’ve got Willie doing it for them, but to the wrong team.

Not that it affects us, but if the flogs are determined to wear that prison bar strip to reflect on what was once a successful heritage (before they abandoned the SANFL), then why not get some past champions to go into the rooms before the game to impress on the players just how much it meant to them and to their community to wear the prison bars and win flags under it.

But as i say, that is their problem and what I would love nothing better on Saturday is for us to annihilate them, crush them so badly it just demoralizes them with back to back beltings - especially when they are wearing that temu Collingwood kit.

Nank didn't play well, but I won't him to double down and back his style of play, not become a boring vanilla player that takes no risk.

Those days happen, but if he can become a NWM type evading wingman/HBF that would be amazing.

Interesting.

Port panicking coming into the Showdown against one of the AFL's inform ruckman.

When considering ruckman who have played 5+ games in the ruck - Reilly O'Brien is currently #5 in hitouts, #3 for winning ruck contests, #5 for hitouts and #2 for hitouts to advantage despite being 12th for Ruck Contests.

ROB keeps playing like this and he could join Hart, Roo, McLeod, Goodwin,Thompson, Sloane, Laird and Dawson as a multiple Crows B&F winner.

There's just the slight problem that he can't mark or kick.
