It's wins like this and others throughout a season that always make me think of (in particular) the Carlton numpties who, when bantering, always use the "I've seen X premierships, how many have you seen?" comeback. Going to or watching games like tonight's is at the heart of why we all enjoy football. Compare the joy we as Collingwood supporters have felt over the last 30 seasons to other club's supporters. Incomparable. We're all so lucky to have come to the black and white.

We never looked like losing despite flying to Perth off a 5 day break, resting our best players, Nick being tagged out of the game and Schultz getting concussed in the last.

It wasn’t pretty but our team deserves some credit.

The question now is with McStay out do we continue with Maso or go another way. He’s the best next ruck in the squad but as a forward I’d rather give West a few games but no where near the ruck. So do we give Steene or Smitt a go? Steene not that good at either ruck or forward role. Interesting to see how they do it. I think Cox will retain his spot any because a better option isn’t ready yet.

Steene and smit aren’t even in the conversation of being ready.

Cox will stay because he’s the next best in with mcstay out structurally.

That was better than I could have imagined. Although I don't rate Freo that highly but with who we were missing and off a short break thought they would put up a better show.

Its kinda scary to think the players we have to come back and Houston is no where near his best and Nicky D was pretty quiet.

Super pumped for Crisp to kick that right foot goal in the last quarter. Must have felt so good for him after last week.

I reckon Sullivan is slowly cementing a spot in the team. I am almost at the stage when I want Sullivan over Lipinski in the side. Really happy for him and hope he stays in the team.

Membrey was a bit disappointing. Couldn't take his chances.

Much better from Beau but he still fumbles.

Now to enjoy the rest of the weekend.
