Why did Scrag cancel his account btw?

He had outgrown us.

Busy full time writing erotic fiction, with an underlying AFL theme. But rather than traditional format books, I believe he's planning to publish as a series of graphic novels. The hardest part of the ground to assess for years has been the backline due to the midfield protecting them. It's no surprise Bont comes back and the games being played more in the forward half. The team still ranks poorly for defending inside 50s this year.

Again proven tonight to be a complete liability without a midfield domination.

It’s clear we have some massive holes with our defenders. No one can honestly say that Cleary, Baker & Duryea are good enough to be part of a genuine premiership backline.

I’d start by moving Freijah back to defence with Treloar’s return and giving Jacques a crack at a spot.

We really need a Miles Bergman type + solid smaller defender type this offseason.

Why did Scrag cancel his account btw?

Even though he occasionally caused mods grief, I, and I'm sure many of us, really miss Scrag. He requested his account be cancelled but didn't give a reason.

Not saying the defenders were perfect, but most times they were made to look bad was when we'd turned the ball over further up the field and Geelong had heaps of space on the rebound.

In the 2nd half when our ball use was better, our defence held up a bit better.
