I somehow forgot to include Woz in my good. He really should be in AA contention right now.Thilthorpe, Fogarty, Worrell, Keays were that good.
Nah, Curtin deserved to be subbed. Probably deserves to be droppedGood: I survived the Port cheer squad, we won
Bad: Nicks' coaching, the sub of Dan Curtin
Ugly: Same baffling umpiring

I wish we had mids with that ability other coaches had to worry about.Nicks' refusal to tag midfielders out of it is tough to watch.
So the tax we paid tonight with the complete free ride port got isn't enough already? We are never winning next week. We have "Collingwood at MCG tax" to pay in the way of free kicks.
We won't get a set shot free inside 50m and Pies will get a handfull.
Nah, Curtin deserved to be subbed. Probably deserves to be dropped
So george did we get shafted by the umpires tonight ports gifted 3 goals a goal not paid to us head high tackle not paid ?No we weren’t, we were happy we were kicking big scores and winning comfortably. Don’t confuse some media and Nicks with this board.
Gees that’s a harsh criticism of a tactic that almost see us blow a 4 goal lead and needing a game saving mark to hold on.
Wide expanses of MCG need leading players.Nah, Curtin deserved to be subbed. Probably deserves to be dropped
We've discussed it before but i believe if Fabian had legally adopted him recognising him as a son, if he had played 100 games he would have been eligible.I know that. That was my point. He can't be father/son anyway so Derwayne is a buffoon.
Nup, he'd need to play more than one bad game in my mind for that..maybe if he plays 4 or 5 games like that..maybe. but its time to invest in him full stop imoNah, Curtin deserved to be subbed. Probably deserves to be dropped
Ahh..the step father son ruleWe've discussed it before but i believe if Fabian had legally adopted him recognising him as a son, if he had played 100 games he would have been eligible.
Key forwards support key forwardsInteresting to hear Jack Riewoldt in the post game saying Thilthorpe was clearly the best and most influential player on the ground, and he was ticked off that Rozee won the medal.
Maybe time to drop Tex. Won't happen with Collingwood next week but it's time for Curtin to get a position of his own.He looks lost.
Or what you've said is so far from cogent that that is all it is worth. (It is this, in case you were wondering). When you play the man you have run out of talking ponits and are waving the qhite flag.
We can’t control the umpires, we can control who coaches us.So george did we get shafted by the umpires tonight ports gifted 3 goals a goal not paid to us head high tackle not paid ?
Always good being in front after the early one. Means even if we drop the next we spend the off season even at worst.I started following football closely in 2001, when the ledger sat at 4-4, and watched Port blow it out to 4-11. At the time I doubted I would ever see the Crows ahead in the ledger.
I know it's not the first time we've led, but it does feel good to get our nose back in front![]()
Not a step father but an adopted father. I think this is fair if you can prevent the rorting.Ahh..the step father son rule
Basically yeah... no one has tried it yet, but I think the adoption clause so that it's legally binding could work. Would be interesting what the AFL would say if any club did try it.Ahh..the step father son rule
I did a quick Google and it seems like the AFL has essentially punted it, saying that they'll handle such a case if and when it occurs.
My guess is that there will be some kind of "must have been in a parenting/guardianship capacity for xx years prior to drafting" clause added to allow it.
Shouldnt have to the pricks should be skilled at their job not bias like williamson and roseberry areWe can’t control the umpires, we can control who coaches us.
So AMacca did we:
Have 30 less disposals
Concede 62 inside 50s to 41
Win free kicks 20-19
Lose clearances 56-29 I repeat, 56-29
We won because Port aren’t very good and because we’ve got a gun forward line. That very forward line Nicks starved just after they piled on goals to get us the lead.
