I’m a massive Doc fan but we need to be smart. Playing back now to support Weiters Jack along with Carroll and hopefully soon Wilson needs to be his role

Boyd and Wilson would make a massive difference to our ball use from defence. Wilson in particular has a thumping kick.

You're right, but it's because of the order of merit, not his footskills.

I’d say his foot skills are his absolute Achilles heel and would be a massive part of why he’s not being selected. He’s a complete footballer except for that I’d say - and maybe his lack of raw pace. I saw in his first VFL game some of the worst attempts at a drop punt I’ve ever seen at the level. Something dramatic needs to change with his kicking to be a mainstay at afl level - especially given how much the modern game is geared towards being able to hit targets by foot.

Right ... and his efficiency has improved since, as evidenced by the 73% in a heavily contested role.

He wouldn't be getting selected regardless unless he can find his way past Lord at the least. He's not getting selected over Cripps, Hewett or Cerra as a first year player.

Disagree. Games changed and if seniors players aren’t performing you need to look at other options. Poor VFL structure makes it hard for players to keep pressing for spots

It’s great to see Wilson get a heap of the ball too.

With Cow out and Gov possibly, id love to see Wilson or Carrol get another crack, i really think we need to prioritise rotating these guys through the 1st team.

If Fof is ready to come back then im happy for him to go straight back in but only if its to replace Motlop or Evans, Motlop especially needs to know there is a level he needs to meet, in order to keep his spot.
