Or all over the ground fwif
True. But the forwards are more egregious for mine. If you tallied up the percentage of things that the players in each part of the ground are in control of and get right, the forwards would have the lowest. It's such an arduous task for us to score, it's insane. Good on the team for defending as they did, but **** me

Simple handball. That kick was telegraphed all the way from ****ing Mawson Station.

Stephens would've cut in, with time, and sent it into a more dangerous spot. Seriously, are we never gonna be out of the woods with these moronic moments from our forwards
Cocked up his lines.

As much as it hurts he is better than the alternative.

That moment should sting. He does the simple and right thing and they are most likely singing the song.

But if we are going to criticise this decision then criticise the Captain for a match defining blunder by leaving the ball behind when we had numbers pushing forward.

Another momentum sapping Simpkin Clanger to add to the collection.

Certainly not worth hanging the kid on a non given handball when he has his full forward leading at him. Plenty of other stuff ups from everyone along the course of the game.

I dont think our forward structure is optimal atm and i think the finished product will include at least 2 blokes that didnt play today. Where they come from is the 64 thousand dollar question.

The commentators called it at the time, man. We have such a small margin for error in our games and he didn't make the chance as good as he could've. Was he the only one? No. Of course not. But at that point of the game, with the knowledge of how it's in the balance, the onus falls on you to make the correct decision, and he didn't.

5 tackles is great, and a return to form of sorts. But it hurts

At what point do we lift our standards from 'decent enough'?
At what time do we start looking at some I these highly rated kids that are doing two tenths of **** all.

Bagging Konstanty is going after low hanging fruit when we have players like Dursma doing **** all and McKercher being the only North player not to lay a tackle.

It’s truly phenomenal how many wrong decisions are made by these guys when a clear option is presented to them.

Sure, he made a blue late, but he was taking responsibility for making the play, so it's not like he was squibbing the issue.

Personally, I prefer to focus on the perfect forward handball to Larkey that opened up the space for Stephens' goal

Not to mention the one he kicked himself

But anyway, back to bagging a bloke who hasn't played 10 games

Yep, with the aid of the tele and hindsight .... In the Larkey thread he is being urged to lead at the ball .... JK was trying to honour that lead. Best option, hindsight says no, but it was doing what we are calling for. Trying to hit up a leading forward.

A leading forward with a Jack Payne right on his hammer. But yes, you're right. Larkey did what we were calling for. It just... it's ****ing frustrating. All of this is so frustrating. Has anyone in anything ever made such glacial progress as this

I'm with ya wizard.

The two boys didn't talk, simple as that. Either Dyl lays a block and lets JK know, or JK lets him know first that he's taking the inside 50. It happens but I hope they let it remind themselves of the basics.

Kicked a clutch goal when his more experienced team-mates couldn't nail them.

It's not all doom and gloom. Clearly, he has some talent and upside. That's what we need to tap into.
So far down the list of problems it’s not funny.

Put himself in position to make a difference. Simpkins blunder was 100 times worse.

As the Chief says, get the dukes out front.

Was Larkey leading at him though or was it a lead backwards?
The backward leads are so much harder for all concerned to pull off.

Leading towards him on a bit of an angle .... ball was just a little too straight imo, iirc, maybe half a meter ... maybe a little high as well ....
