Watching him behind the goals in the first quarter he seemed like normal but I think it started playing up again and he just got slower as the game went on. Probably one of those "im fit enough to play but I hope it doesn't aggravate" and it did.He was. And it was damning
But he also clearly looked hampered by a leg injury - the kind of detail
None of these commentators are across - although I guess if you play you are deemed fit. Which he obviously wasn’t. Needs to be rested but I can understand why they brought him in for Carlton.
Problem is that if we switched him up with Caminiti we probably would have leaked those goals anyway and broken what forward line structure we had. Honestly I think Higgin's being unable to finish the game hurt us way more then Howard being at 75%, with the way the ball was coming into our forward line I tihnk he could have kicked another 2.
