Zaine cordy will be gone by the end of the year. Worth taking a shot on a you key position. McMahon is 198cm 23 years old and smashed us on the weekend. Rather him on the list
Problem is he's been dominating the comp as a forward for around 2 seasons now yet no club has taken a punt on him. Theres probably an underlying issue to his game that isnt as obvious to us casual observers. Maybe lacks forward pressure etc.

I think we have interest in another VFL key forward though...

Which one?
I always like to put it in the perspective of. The that was keelers performance on Saturday night we would be pumping that much smoke up his ass

Gotta politely disagree.
Yep a few instances where he didn't put in the required.
But the bloke was limping.
Shouldn't never have been passed fit to play.

The loss of Battle has hurt us more than we might like to admit. Having that 3rd tall to chop out.

Can't use Hammer at present as we need him up forward.

So at present we need at least another Key Back if you got your wish to get rid of Howard. And that's with Hammer going back as well. On top we need at least another Key Forward. I'm not confident in Kings body holding up. I don't know how anyone could to be honest. And that's all before we start on the mids.
I think this has more to do with our coaches and fitness staff 1. Ok to play injured players, 2. Not willing to change structure.

Caminiti could have played back, was doing well there. And could have brought in any tall of Heath or Keeler to replace him forward. Wouldn't have been much worse than Hammer.

Battle would have been very handy as well though

Hooray, Max King coming back after round 13

As i said there were a few instances where he let himself and the team down. But at the same time the bloke was limping in vision. Shouldnt have been out there.

There seems to be a common thread at the moment whereby some of our guys are just expected to push through.

At the end of the day that can be to our detriment.
Ross was basically making fun of him for coming off with the injury in the Fremantle game.

At this point, I'd be happier if they stopped giving us tentative return dates and teases and just announced him on the team sheets as a surprise at some point. Would stop the constant disappointment at least...

I'd really like some proper intel out of the club to tell us whats actually happening. It's worse than an Aaron Hamill two weeks situation because we have him until 2030++

If he only took easy options, like 80% of AFL players, he would be running at 99% DE. Because he's such a fantastic user he's given license to take on the dangerous kicks that try to open up the game for us. Sometimes these will not come off.

He's a fantastic kick, and we love it in his hands.

Exactly this. Compare him to Blakey.

I see the Adelaide HSun reporters did an article on NAS.

In short whilst the saints are confident they retain him.

Both Adelaide clubs would have to pay the equivalent of Bolton to Freo - 3 first rounders.

And neither club will own a top 10 pick this year which we will request.

If he chooses Port the article says we will ask for Bergman + 2 Firsts.

The Power has made a bid to keep Zak Butters at the club after 2026, with a unique offer of two more years then a player option of another six years beyond that which would take him through to the end of 2034 if he locked in for the entirety of the deal.

AFL.com.au can reveal rival clubs are aware of Port's openness to make Bergman one of the longest signed players in the AFL with their maximum offer and what it would take to prise him out of the club.

I'd want Butters and Bergman. We can give Butters the money Nas would have got plus extra cream if needed.

Does anyone trust the AFL to make a fair decision on a priority pick?

It's why they should be automatic like they used to.
To be perfectly honest, I trust them with nothing.
Every little thing is manipulated and done with $$ in mind .
