Rest Walker and Curtin
Bring in Dowling and Draper
Feel we need to go smaller and add more runners against the pies.

Or play Curtin in Walkers role and bring in Draper. We need to fast track Draper and play him in the middle. Last week taught us that our midfield failed and Draper is the one that could fix this in the future, get game so to him now

Darcy Moore ruled out aswell as De Goey.
Jesus why do Port always get kissed on the .. one moment

Oh it's us - should bloody well hope so

We’ve gotta get over the hump at some point… right?

This should be our strongest side we’ve played against them during the Nicks tenure

Quality of players is not the reason we can't beat Collingwood. McRae routinely beats Nicks at the death, a real problem for Nicks as we just saw against Port

2024 R11: Take the lead in the dying minutes then cough up the last goal of the game

2023 R15: Lead at 3QT then immediately concede three of the first four goals in the fourth and fall in a heap trying to overcome a narrow Collingwood lead

2023 R7: Lead at 3QT then basically don't score at all in the fourth quarter while Collingwood have half a dozen shots

2022 R18: Lead by 16 points approaching 3QT then concede six of the next seven goals. Can't reel the margin back in the last 10 mins

2021 R12: Get up by a goal approaching 3QT then concede three junk time goals to go down at the break. Can't overcome the margin in the fourth

From the 25 minute mark of the 3rd quarter we've been outscored 19-12 in goals across those five matches, having led four of five matches at that point

That game round 15 2023 broke my heart. Of course I had to travel to Melbourne with my Collingwood girlfriend. I genuinely thought we were going to win when Tex ran into the open goal with three minutes to go… I have no idea why we fold against them every single time

Should have taken your Adelaide girlfriend

No Darcy Moore is kinda huge.... Means one of Fog Tex or TT is gonna be on like Maynard.

I get it

But I think the fact we were able to hold on in the first place last week, is improvement

We would’ve lost the Port game this time last year. Probably in 2023 too

They get back Maynard and Pendles.

This has a classic Pies up against the odds pulling off a courageous victory whilst we blow our opportunity, either through missed chances, dumb coaching/selections and dodgy umps.

Realistically all 3 are more than probable, hence why our record in close finishes is appalling.

Missed chances - more than likely, pressure situations and Crows doesn't go well together.
Dumb coaching - absolutely, 5 years of Nicks says so.
Dodgy umps - absolutely, 25 years of history says so.
