How many games do you expect from Sturt, Fyfe and Walters?
If Brodie, Aish were AFL standard like they should be we would be ok.
Plus we are carrying Fyfe and Walters who are injury prone and unlikely to play again.

Shuffle the deckchairs then.I predicted Darcy out for NOD in, shame NOD wasn't fit and thus Banners was the next best.
I'd love to know what team we would be picking if we had NOD, Young, Walters, Sturt, Walker, Darcy available and in form.
No point making selection statements if they make your team demonstrably worse. What are they going to do, replace Switta with Jack Delean? No, of course not. It's shit, but these guys are getting reprieves because we have been hit with bullshit injuries.
So we walked away from the match review believing we were 10 skill errors away from a 7 goal win?The match review identified four stupid skill errors in the first quarter resulting in goals against and another half dozen examples in the game where a player missed the handball option that would have put a player at the top of the square taking a shot.
It's not that bad.

Here I was thinking our skills were part of how well we played. We would have played better if we'd made less errors is apparently the best our match review can come up with.So we walked away from the match review believing we were 10 skill errors away from a 7 goal win?
I think if there is expected rain, we need to go smaller.
Darcy out, Banners in or as subRas to start
Out of interest who would you bring in for those 2?Lol at this team selection.
Selection panel clearly ok with Switta having nil impact and Johnson picking out the oppo all night.
Someone else.is cooper the likely sub or do we think its likely to be someone else? he played solid enough last week, can he get a run of games in the side or is that more unlikely to happen, what do you guys think
Banfield surelyis cooper the likely sub or do we think its likely to be someone else? he played solid enough last week, can he get a run of games in the side or is that more unlikely to happen, what do you guys think
Just playing devil's advocate here....Uggh, this place is unhinged at the moment. Peel doesn't have a small forward to drop Switta for

Banfield will prob kick 4 and we'll win by 30 and our season will be "back "
Obviously we then lose next week
Its going to rain. Will Brodie should be playing and one of Switta or Banfield should be sub.Uggh, this place is unhinged at the moment. Peel doesn't have a small forward to drop Switta for
It's not that our depth is bad, it's that all our depth is literally all in the team now.
Voss, Ras, Simpson, Worner, Reid (yes, him too), Dudley, Wagner, Banfield are all those players who would be in the Depth range.
JOM, Sturt, Darcy, NOD, Fyfe, Walters, Narkle, Walker, Young are on our injury list right now. If fit I'd wager all of them are in the b22 with Narkle the only one who's pure depth.
There's no one to come in for poort performing players beacause they're all in the team already out of necessity.
We already play three talls up front. The only players centre or forward at Peel are Brodie (no, I'll fight anyone advocating for him), DeLean (lol), Nichols, Carr or McDonald. It doesn't have to.be another small forward but we have too many injuries, all the reasonable depth is injured, playing or tall.Just playing devil's advocate here....
Why would it have to be for another small fwd? We're playing all of Bolton/Freddy/Dudley/Reid/Switta as small fwds, more than any other team that I can think of, and our fwd pressure is still mediocre. And we just added Banfield. You can argue that technically some are "medium" forwards but they're all expected to pressure. Does removing one underperforming small fwd from the gaggle we have really destroy our team balance?
But yes, we basically have F all depth at the moment. FWIW, personally I'd make him sub and give Erasmus the full game which would allow for Bolton to spend more time down there. simples.
You can have an unhinged opinion, they are all over BF. Tell me what you'd do insteadIt's a public forum. People are not unhinged if they disagree with your opinion.
I find it frustrating that inconsistent performances from senior players get unpunished. It's not just about finding an exact replacement for Switta.
Did you watch Peel on the weekend? Its going to rain. Will Brodie should be playing and one of Switta or Banfield should be sub.
It's possible. Please tell me we aren't going to play Reidy and he's just insurance?
