You don't punish AFL players for playing a shit game by rewarding WAFL players who played a shitter game.

Sure and yet…we keep losing games…and the same players are playing like disgusting bin fires and keep getting picked….so there’s that

I’d actually stick Delean in. I don’t care. Even if for a week…
**** it
Can’t have a small forward who shits his pants at the thought of a goal.

That thing on the last few minutes of the second quarter has scarred me for life

Narkle would’ve been perfect
I'd have understood Narkle, Delean is just a bridge I cant cross sorry haha

I just think those performances need to be dealt with.

We cannot accept it which is exactly what has happened.

Jamie Elliot kicked 6.2 when the ball only got down there 34 times.
Almost 25% of the time the ball went in he scored.

Who is responsible for that?

Ryan is fat and unfit and not performing. So…do just accept that or do we play McDonald or Davies or Draper? Cox is great if the ball is in his 5 meter circle.

Sharp has been off.

Frederick has had maybe two decent games all season.

Switta is currently a disgrace.

We might be worse but those guys need a kick between the thighs

I'd have been onboard for a kick up the arse another defender, there's options there and I've always liked Davies more than most. Cant do Switta for complete lack of options though.

Apart from an inanimate carbon rod.

Aish, and move Cooper Simpson into Swittas role
Ras or Brodie for Johnno, I’m a fan of neither buhis ball use last week was awful.
Cooper has played all games at Peel off half back. He played his best game by a mile in the seniors off half back. He has looked a totally different player with growing confidence and you want to move him back to high half forward.

I would have played McDonald ahead of Voss but it won’t get me losing sleep as the structure is better. Voss’ ruck work in the game he got suspended was pretty decent.

Banfield was definitely in the mix from my perspective. I’m sure NOD would have been in the team if fit.

I suggested Murphy Reid or Switta be the sub and that is still a possibility.

Banfield, Ras, Aish and McDonald all played well for Peel. Ras and Banfield are in, with McDonald and Aish emergencies.

Switta should certainly consider himself lucky. Needs to get going ASAP. Definitely a candidate for sub with Banfield in the team.

Otherwise there isn’t any other cattle so really not sure why so many hard core melts.

Delean has been playing wing. Hardly a threat up forward.

If its wet then Erasmus starts in the guts

He loves the slop, his father was a mudder, his mother was a mudder

Who is responsible for that?

I thought it was near unanimous that Longmuir is the one responsible for the bad performances? Now people are upset that he’s not punishing players for results they say are due to his coaching / game plan?

Back to the good old days of everybody arguing with each other over the team changes. This! This is the Fremantle I know!:tearsofjoy:

Things are pretty dire when we have been as shit as we have been the last few weeks and the best we can do at selection is bring in Banfield.

I hope at least Erasmus plays a full game. I absolutely expect him to be in the subs vest however.

I shudder to think who Cox is going to play on... Riccardi and then he forces a switch onto hogan?

lukey Ryan on stringer? shudders
Just happy Pearce is in for this one. He’s very versatile and should battle Hogan, make him accountable.

We had more out than they did.

Nothing really being said about us being one of the youngest lists with a bad injury list.

I would be the first to point that out if it hadn't been 3 years of the same shit.

My point to that other bloke being the Pies obviously felt comfortable enough to rest several best 15 or so players.

In the modern game, resting your runners because they are coming off a tiny break is just as much about getting fresh legs onto the field as it is about not having guys on the grass who can't cover any spread from an opponent.

It's why playing guys barely getting to the start line in particularly the running roles can lead to you losing that match up against a relative no name player.

And we are at the point of the season where the game starts to transition from a hard running fast game into a slower contested game, purely because the speed of the game can't be maintained. Each squad will get there at a different time but they all will.

I think you can find Nathan Buckley talking about this.

And that worries me. I have high hopes of Draper being a really good player, but he's fallen in a hole. And I don't know why.

Dude he had a breakout year last year in his first year as a player. Battled above his weight-class, was exceptional in the Sydney away win.

He played a handful of good games this year - but has dropped a bit. Why would we expect him to be elite every game as a second year player?

He's going to be massive for us.

I'd be more critical of Cox, Ryan and perhaps even Chapman who appear to have gone backwards. But Draper isn't the issue.

Just a couple games ago vs Adelaide I thought Draper first half was very good. It’s not like it’s been ages since we’ve seen him play good football. There’s no problem there.

Chapman has been JLed. His first season had so much run off half back and now we’re trying to get him playing on small forwards??
