Richmond at over $3 odds for dreamtime are worth a big play if you are that way inclined.

North have shown more in their loss to the dogs, their draw with Brisbane and their loss to the crows than the Bombers have shown in their pumpings by Adelaide and the dogs tonight.

I wouldn't be making a big play on us, we will be off a 5 day break and we look to be tiring, could get smashed tomorrow by North and Essendon probably beat us. Hope you're right though.

Not sure on the North comparison to Essendon, North have also been pumped in several games, including at home to Sydney, who Essendon beat.

should have sold merrett for a farm last year

He'd probably only leave for a team near the top, so how much can you really get? Similar to the Petracca situation, unless the players want to leave for a bottom team, you aren't getting great value back anyway. Late firsts are in the mid 20s these days.

Find it funny that Rayner gets dragged over the coals but Andrew McGrath racks up 20 of the most meaningless disposals across half back every week and not a word about it.

But dons supporters agree his shit and admit they got the wrong guy.
Some lions say they’d still take Rayner @ 1 which creates discussion

Good point on the 5 days but still think Richmond are a big chance.

North's worst games were against Carlton and Sydney, no question.

They have just come off a draw with the best team in the comp though, so that gives them some credits. Essendon have no credits at the moment. They are ordinary. A couple of bounces of the ball the other way and they are 3 and 6.

Only problem with this take is the Hawks have innovative, fresh coach whilst the Dons have Brad Scott.

Scott’s presser’s are going to be must see TV for the rest of his tenure, pure comedy like the old days at North.

I'm expecting him to rage quit any presser now. AFL have come out and said 'we don't hand out priority picks' anymore but if anyone is going to get one in the next couple of years it will be you guys.

I’ll take it, will surely have some drop in form in the future.
Get another Pendles and Daisy and we’ll be set being thereabouts for another 15.

No no no, he deserves a statue for services to the other 17 AFL clubs.
Failing that, trade/draft period should be renamed in his honour.

Has anyone ever been as remarkably skilled at maintaining a for the most part ordinary/bad, but not horrible side for so long? Extraordinary really.

What happened to the much hyped up "Essendon Edge?"
It was blunt to start with.

Even more blunt now.

In summary..the sharp edge never existed.

Scoot just plucked the moniker out of his own little black book of good ideas jotted down while on shooms.
