Thank god they won't get to then, otherwise we would end up like... (checks notes)... Carlton.
Not that I am a betting man but how are we starting favourites vs Melbourne next week?
Melbourne - $2.04
Sydney - $1.81

Haven’t they looked the last time we played at this groundHasn’t changed since they won the Lions game
Play Walsh on a wing where he belongs, TDK as second ruck and third tall, Weitering yep, McKay maybe, Curnow you betcha, Cripps too but after that? No-one. Saad? Makes Lloyd look good. JSOS? I'll take Melican thanks. Our smalls run rings around theirs. Oh wait! They did.Its okay to say you prefer our list but a lot of Carlton players would walk into our best 22 every week (Walsh, Cripps,TDK,Weiter,McKay,Curnow,Williams,Jsos)
Lets not be ridiculous lol

You don't like anyone , i only get annoyed with a handful who consistently go missing , not good players that have a quieter game than you expect .\
Yeah maybe it was too wet or some other bullshit excuse you make up for the 4-5 players you like
I do and so does my bank balanceI don't remember it

Did he kick a goalI didn’t say he was a good kick though, I just like one piece of play, He is an average kick, though he makes less mistakes than some. Maybe it was too wet his entire career
Weitering would, and so would Haynes. I already said I would take those two. In a heartbeat. Hewett is a poised contested clearance player that we could do with in the midfield. Curnow the contested mark and goal threat we are lacking inside 50. The others all have serious weaknesses in their games that wouldn't just magically disappear because they're in the red & white. They are the reasons Carlton are what they've been the last handful of years and they'd become our problem then.No i mean they would improve our side in each respective position unless you think our current forward line is better or Weitering/Jsos wouldnt make a difference to our defence?
Over hyped , but has won 2 Brownlows but he is pretty goodHe is over hyped for sure but he is pretty bloody good, wasted with that team .
I like Walsh, Silvangi is handy , and the campo twins and the new kid handy prospect.
They do have some ordinary depth in parts though to your original point.

Of course i did , he's got the footy smarts as a Zac Jones , but hey if you like him , maybe he will be a great pick up for the new Green teamDidn't you watch the game? explains a lot!
Well we'll have to agree to disagree. I'm gonna stick to my side of the fence where the grass is all brown and dry with cigarette butts in it.Some would improve also being surrounded by better players and winning more often than losing.

We were 1.6 before the Demons beat Lions today. Record vs. Demons I'd say.Not that I am a betting man but how are we starting favourites vs Melbourne next week?

Because it was bullshitAgain I never made a comment on Ladhams I literally admire his scissor kick attempt and you keep going on with it.

Yes. We can look at it like that. And that is fair too. But the same can be said about the Swans, minus the Brownlows. But whether we like it or not, Cripps has the two Chas' around his neck. Cripps is the #1 most accomplished player in the game today. Would I pick him #1? No. I wouldn't pick a Swans player #1 either though. I would pick him (Cripps) before anyone in the Swans team 1 for 1 though. Or, let's put it this way, put him in the Swans team over Chad and the Swans level up IMO. That's not a knock on Chad at all and Chad is playing much better than Cripps right now. Chad's great. The Swans have a game plan that would actually help Cripps and make him a much more effective player. Anyway, apart from that they have the best defender in the comp. They have, as I mentioned, the #4 and #7 goal kickers in the comp. I actually think that Curnow should be better than he is. They added a guy that is now #1 in marks in the comp. They have a very good attacking HB in Saad. Motlop is under performing. Is it Motlop or the environment? I'm not sure.I would take our list over theirs 100 times out of 100.
I keep hearing how talented but wasted Carlton's players are. Cripps has won two Brownlows, Walsh has averaged 28+ disposals the last four straight years. Clearly these guys are not being starved of opportunity or supply. They just don't do anything with it.
By the same token a number of our players could be better than they are if not for the fact they're playing specific roles to make the team better.
It's why we have made two grand finals in three years where Carlton have been largely mediocre.
Because it was bullshit

I think at some point either the Swans 2nd/3rd string players like Lloyd, Florent, JMac, McCartin, Cunningham, Hayward etc are either better than we all give them credit for, or they are Hewett, Cerra, Haynes, Silvagni, McGovern, Acres, Williams, Hollands (maybe even both of them). I refuse to put Walsh in that category. TDK is there. Plus they have Jagga.
I mean they just had Pittonet come in from the VFL who would give Grundy a serious run for his money as #1 ruck for us and they also have Docherty not getting a game.
The question was not is he good, it was would I want him in my team. I'm not taking him over any of our mids, except Sheldrick but I don't think he's quite best 22 yet anyway. So no he wouldn't be in my team.
To my eye I think Carlton look best when guys like Hewett & Cerra are linking up, they bring the outside players into the game more. Once Cripps & Walsh are more involved I feel their midfield becomes about accumulating, a lot of possessions going nowhere & doing nothing. But then Fox Footy flash some graphic about how many clearances Cripps has had in the quarter and the hype train takes off.
